"Incredibly disappointing. Nothing inventive here, just going through the paces and picking up tourists like us in the process. not sure how they garner the reviews they do. There was nothing wrong with our food, it was all prepared adequately, served adequately...but for what it was, we could have done much, much better! I 'm just disappointed to have wasted one meal in here, when we could have gone to a real artisan gem. Oh well, no use crying over spilt milk."

the service was good. some of the pasta shares are very tiny (about 8 pieces pasta! , so no value for money at all. the place was too loud and dark. but overall the food and service was decent.

Met colleagues for a breakfast meeting food was excellent and the place is bright and airy. Service was woeful especially as it was not particularly busy. Staff seemed both disinterested and distracted. Had to ask several times for items forgotten or not put through on the order.

"I had a lovely experience at this restaurant and the food was delicious! It was my first time trying Persian cuisine and I found it to be very refined and mild, yet still full of flavor. "I and my son occasionally discover this very elegant restaurant, just before the main entrance of the imperial college. did not immediately realize that it was a polish, but once inside, looking at quite customers and extremely professional and gentle waiters, was so glad that we have eaten some speciality one of the best and fast growing land in Eastern Europe! the most important courses were really delicious, and the smoked salmon with a kind of warm little pfan cake was absolutely! gran finale with their big vodka figa. 60, including 1 2lt polish. recommended also for a romantic dinner, but do not forget the figa as dessert"

"There is nothing wrong about this restaurant but it is also nothing special for the price range. Places like Eneko have menus at similar value and the food is exceptional, whereas the food in Quantus was not flawless. I was the “lucky one” since I seemed to order the best dishes in the menu: the sweetbreads, the grilled octupus and the nut cake. My husband ordered the Heirloom tomatoes salad and the tomatoes were tasteless. The chimichurri steak was ok, but far from the best. The same could be said from the crab cakes. The worse thing however were the deserts. My husband ordered a panna cotta which almost needed a knife to be eaten, and my friend ordered a chocolate mouse that had an off smell (we all noticed) and hence did not eat it. In addition when we arrived the restaurant was full but nobody had been served which resulted in us having to wait very long for the food. The service was very pleasant though and the octupus and nut cake were very good"

"Flew all the way from Boston today on the red eye to visit Chiswick and the Parle Pantry, a delightful vegan coffee and pastry spot, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The coffee here is exceptional – rich, flavorful, and perfectly brewed. I tried their flat white with oat milk, and it was one of the best I've ever had. The pastries are a revelation; each one is a masterpiece of vegan baking. The chocolate croissant was flaky and indulgent, and the lemon poppy seed muffin was light, moist, and bursting with flavor. Had the porridge three times for breakfast after my 10k runs. Perfect fuel filled! Wish I could make at home in Boston. The variety is impressive, catering to all tastes with gluten-free options as well. The attention to detail and the quality of ingredients truly shine through in every bite. Whether you're a vegan or not, Parle Pantry is a must-visit. It's the perfect spot for a cozy coffee date or a quick treat. I can't wait to return and try more of their delectable offerings!"

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
