Porto Vecchio - Menu

Abbiamo avuto molti problemi con il cibo. La carne e il tartufo erano secchi e freddi e non erano serviti come richiesto. La pasta era così così. La pizza terribile. Il resto del personale sembrava disinteressato. Prezzi troppo alti. L'unico punto positivo era la posizione, ma sembrava che dimenticassero che qui ci vivono persone che potrebbero tornare. Non dovrebbero pensare che tutti siano turisti.

Eravamo qui per andare a pranzo alle 15. primo, il sedile esterno sull'acqua è incredibile, si sente lontano dal lungomare vivace. bella selezione di commensali, tutti piacevano i loro piatti (abbiamo avuto pizza, pasta, pesce). Ho la meta'. pieno sul “bruschetta crudo” starter, era enorme e bello, ma gestisce la pizza dopo. e i prezzi sono molto ragionevoli con gli altri ristoranti che abbiamo visitato.

come altri hanno detto, la posizione e l'ambiente è eccellente ed è lontano dalla striscia di cibo principale. il wein era eccellente, ma un po 'caldo/breasted. i camerieri non sono né esagerati. il tiramisu era delizioso. in mezzo, le nostre reti, delle specialità estive del tartufo sono stati purtroppo non sounded e blanching. è costoso, ma se sono svizzeri, non così scioccante. andare per la posizione e un semplice salato e tegame di vetro.

Cannobio is, in my opinion, the best town in the Lago Maggiore and this is the place to have dinner. Just across the hotel Cannobio, and pat of it, has a fantastic outdoor setting on the lake. A fantastic view, and a very romantic setting...for dinner, especially in the summer where the lights on the lake are ever-changing. The menu is limited but the food was excellent, from the various pastas to the superbly prepared lake fish. But the best was a zabaglione made from scratch at the table: divine. Good wine list, outstanding service, reasonable price for the food and the setting.

Sono stato lì con uno dei nostri ospiti e ho avuto un pasto delizioso, il servizio era un po' lento ma è normale poiché era domenica e la domenica c'è il mercato settimanale che è incantevole ma naturalmente affollato di turisti,...vengono persino dalla parte di lingua tedesca della Svizzera per il giorno quindi il servizio può essere un po' lento in tutti i ristoranti di Cannobio. Ho solo un reclamo: coperto 4 euro a persona, era un po' troppo, non ho mai pagato tanto da nessuna parte prima. Nel complesso è stata una giornata calda e piacevole, un'ottima atmosfera e il cibo era delizioso.

We were dining in the corner of restaurant Porto Vecchio at the boulevard. We were six ppl. We ordered a pizza, 3 lasagna, a spaghetti and two cannelloni. They started to serve the spaghetti. About 5-10 min later the pizza came and one lasagna. Again...10 mins later the rest came, but not the last lasagna. The waitress then said there were only two lasagna left. So we had to choose another dish. We ordered another cannelloni that came 20 mins later. In that time of 20 mins we saw that she forgot the change and that's why we had to wait. My husband and I had a very nice dinner at Porto Vecchio, sitting outdoors at a table along the lake. Our dinner was very good and we do not understand why there are only mediocre reviews, at best. It was a bit pricey, portions rather...small (okay with us), but of good quality and lovely presentation. It was a bit chilly for eating outdoors so the staff provided us with blankets to put over our shoulders. A nice touch. We had an amuse bouche of tomato slice with a soft cheese and a square of toast with lardo.Expensive appetizers were porcini mushrooms in garlic sauce which we both had for 24 euros each. For me this review is difficult to write because Porto Vecchio has potential but it just did not deliver and we were a bit disappointed in the whole experience. The restaurant is located directly on the lake with a beautiful view and you feel nestled...away from the bustling promenade. When we arrived and were seated we right away ordered an Aperitivo. As we waited we thought they might bring some bread or nuts anything for the Aperitivo but nothing was brought at the table That was the first disappointment.
