really nice pub in the middle of the portobello road market. they have different beer and a comfortable area. when they are tired of the crowd, they go there a glass beer until they are ready to move again! have not tried to eat there.

lage on portobello road, just went during my tourist trip to notting hill to have nicoise salat and fish and chips as I have seen on the menu at the entrance. both were very tasty and the music, mostly rock, playing in is another plus.

Best meal in London for my trip to UK. Had to reserve the table two months before the trip. They do three turn of services for dinner. great place! ties all boxes. for years go and still supplies great food, excellent selection of beer and weeping. that is not your usual pub. it's better! there is a fireplace for cozy afternoons and evenings and an all-yearly open winter garden area that opens in summer. a must try to place when in the opposite and on the famous portobello rd. friendly and friendly for all. even dogs.

Brilliant spot serving a mixture of small and large plates. We didn’t have a reservation but called in late afternoon and were seated under the heaters outdoors. The quality of the food was fantastic and I was surprised by how much we enjoyed the chargrilled hospi cabbage. We also had the braised rabbit leg tortellini which was delicious even if it was slightly expensive for the amount of tortellini you get. Would definitely return as this is a gem in Notting Hill

a hankering for oysters, my preferred art, to begin a meal, had me to portobello gold, a very relaxed, cool place, which also shakes at home to a gray, wandering to happily shaken by the customers. If you want to step away from the buzz on Portobello road and enjoy it as a bystander this is the place. They have indoor seating, a back garden ish area and front seating. We saw all the three and preferred the front area the best. They have some fabulous rose on the wine list. The pasta I had and the calamari my husband had were really really good. The service staff, each and every one who interacted with us, was goofy and lost. Very friendly and apologetic nevertheless. Can sit there for hours and sip on wine. The best part was when the owner drove up the curb in this vintage open dodge car his personality, in one sweeping glance, seemed like he lives his life to the fullest. Felt...read...

We didn't have a reservation, but we decided to go in and eventually the staff were able to find us a table for four. We sat upstairs, where there is a roof area that is only open on sunny days. The restaurant serves dishes meant to be shared tapas style. We ordered three dishes per person (one meat, one fish, and one side) and shared them with the table. We had grilled chicken, sea bream fish (which was amazing), zucchini with mint sauce (my favorite), sweet potatoes, and raw octopus. By the end, we were all full. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, deserving a 5-star rating. The flavors were simple yet full and satisfying, earning a perfect 10/10 score. However, the service was lacking, receiving only 2 stars. From the moment I arrived, the hostess failed to notify me that my table was ready, even though it had been open for some time. Once seated, my waitress took my order and then disappeared for the remainder of my meal.
