great hotel. really friendly staff, beautiful rooms with magnificent views. fish and chips brought me back into my childhood, real fish with the occasional bone. rest of the menu was also good and the beer was excellent

is a holiday also a holiday without a trip to the pier? the coffee is so beautiful. it is the perfect place to relax with family and friends inside or outside. the staff is helpful and friendly and the place is so clean. we love...visit

the first time that I stayed. was really happy to update to the sunrise suite....absolute beautiful rooms with a spectacular view of the beach. great service, very friendly staff. stay regularly in this hotel and I can definitely recommend!

We go quite a lot. The people who work there are so obliging nothing is too much trouble. We have stayed there too and had a fabulous time. The food is really tasty and they always do their best to make sure your dietary needs...are reached. It’s one of the first places we head for when we go. Must say too that when we stayed the room was clean and tidy. Everything we needed was there and the view was lovely too.

Had a very pleasant evening here. Looked a bit average from the outside but inside it's elegantly decorated with a range of seating options, range of wine , varied menu and very comfortable atmosphere. I had the cromer crab salad which contained a very generous...amount of crab for the price and tasted fantastic. My partner had the pork. If we'd stayed longer I"d definitely have gone back. Was the best meal we had in gorleston. Well trained staff.

Just went to the pub on the pier this evening with my mate for my birthday . The drinks were very good price. The atmosphere was lovely .we sat outside to begin with then came indoors to have some food . The food was delicious.... Everything was lovely especially the twin men that work there, my god they are gorgeous, and very good at their jobs too . They definitely made me and my mates night, always nice to have some eye candy while out with ya mates.

booked room 203, it was the jet tub and tw in the bathroom that exchanged it! beautiful large room with sea view. we have also booked a twin room for our sons, which had some minor problems that were fixed or should be sorted at our departure. the staff are friendly and attentive, we ate in the restaurant this evening and the eating was excellent. with a vegetarian in the family there was a good selection of dressed, of which even a fussy teenager was impressed. we booked in september for our jubilee in the suite as tasty bites.

Yesterday evening 6 of us had an meal in the restaurant. What a lovely place to eat. The food was delicious. I had the Lasagne but felt pretty envious when I clapped eyes on the Lamb Cutlets, ordered by 4 other family members. My hubby...said they were the best cutlets he had eaten, very tender and tasty. The staff, well...they are wonderful. We were served by a lovely bubbly lady called Hayley, who was so helpful. She had a lovely personality and we all commented on how nice she was with customers. Hayley is definitely an asset to the Pier. So in all, can recommend the Pub on the Pier, wonderful food, wonderful staff. The words of Arni.....I'll be back !! ;

There were 5 of us. Two had their meals delivered incorrectly. (As in Cod for Scampi) This seemed to be because of the inexperience of the young staff. Sounds like a management problem to me. My own meal was wrong and it was taken away...only to be brought back with the correct food but they had just replaced the wrong bits and left the rest to cool off so that most of it was no more than warm/cold. Some of us had finished before the others had started. We were offered a free drink in compensation but the problem was that three of us were driving and did not want one so the gesture was pointless. A bit disappointing then. so as we are locals and looking for an eating venue for more than just...
