Not bad, but it's no Chipotle. If you've been abroad for a while and are in need of a fix, this will certainly satiate that need, but I doubt it's a joint you'll be craving to return to. I had a chicken burrito with rice, black beans, peppers and onions, a mix of pico and medium salsa, cheese and sour cream. The overall flavor was pretty good, but the chicken on its own was very dry, and the cheese and sour cream had an unpleasant aftertaste. These tiny flaws notwithstanding, it's still a cheap place to grab some quick Mexican eats.

the burritos at Pure Burrito are the closest I 've found in Germany (or i should say at least in Munich and Berlin) to the Mission burrito in San Francisco, although the Mission version is usually more greasy, with lower quality ingredients Pure Burrito uses organic local meats. don 't forget to order WITHOUT salad!! it doesn 't belong on a proper burrito!! there is no ambience at all, and as for the service, the best I can say is efficient. . but then again you usually aren 't looking for a 'dining experience ' when you set out to 'grab a burrito. ' ultimately it IS closer to Chipotle than to a true Mission taqueria but in Germany so far it 's the best I 've found.

I expect this is a second location for the establishment on Lindwurmstrasse (or they moved to Maxvorstadt) but the menu is the same so I would expect most reviews for that location to apply to this one as well. I have only been there once and though I do not consider myself a connoisseur of burritos and Mexican food, I have had better burritos and I have had worse. I agree with other reviewers that the burritos are on the dry side, but not to the point where it gets hard to eat them. My beef burrito with tomatillo salsa, pinto beans, guacamole and sour cream was good enough that I will definitly consider this place again when I need something fast and nearby. The price was all right as well.

On my first visit here when I ordered it reminded me of Chipotle back in the States. You get to choose your burrito fillings as you go through your order. However, the comparison ends there. While Chipotle is higher-end fast food, it's still fast food. I like that Pure uses local bio meats, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3. I also like that you can choose either a small or large burrito. There's also good Mexican beer like Negra Modelo available. I personally think Condesa is more authentic and has more variety in terms of a few more menu items and customizing the spice level better, but if you want a burrito with organic meats and want it just about exactly how you want it in...

I would never say Pure Burrito has the best burritos in Munich, because there are plenty of tasty, authentic Mexican ones to be found around town. However, if it's a Chipotle, Salsalitas, or Qdoba that you crave, then this is as close as you'll get. This place has the best burritos in Munich. It 's the only place that has ever transported me back to my San Francisco days, and trust me San Francisco knows burritos. Hell, they even invented a style of burrito (the Mission burrito). Close your eyes. Let the sounds of country music muddle the blended spices of your slow cooked beef burrito with the zest of the house salsas into a tortilla wrapped missile of delight. BAM! You just got nuked with the delicio bomb. Wanna go for another round? Fine, but if you ordered the big burritio, you 're gonna have to wait a day until there 's room again.
