Outstanding food, service, and view. This is truly a great dinning experience, with wonderful food and an experienced staff that understand service. We are hear twice, and both times we asked for wine recommendations that were perfect for our choices. The tuna dishes are awesome, the octopus is the best we ever had, and all the rest were equally impressive. What a disappointment!!! Great expectation but poor performance We booked the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. I have ordered the Riso and a medium rare stake The Riso was nice but than we had to over an hour for the stake They kept saying “i am going to check what about your stake but they didn’t. After a long wait the stake was served and to my disappointment it was over cooked. Obviously we did not ordered any desert, paid (full price) and left. Have to get the seafood. The seafood was amazing. You got like butler like professional service. The food price was reasonable and you got top notch food quality. This restaurant made our stay in Italy so memorable. This place maybe a little out of the way of busy tourist street area but it's totally worth it. The seafood was like a taste of fine Mediterranean ocean. So fresh and full of umami. You may want to bring a jacket if it's chilly weather since it's complete outdoor. We had a room overlooking the beautiful of Napoli.. bed was hard as a rock and had really poor quality sheets. Did not sleep well all 3 nights... We had only a bathtub...no shower.....showered in our friends room...not what we paid for. Towels were thin and frayed. Lots of stairs..fine for us but maybe not others?? Couldn't change us to a room with a shower unless we downgraded the size and location of room.. only bathtub rooms. Spent 35 days in Italy...never ran into this issue. Breakfast was nice... We made a reservation for 1930 on the patio, only to be seated in the corner next to a speaker. Not only could I not hear my date, but I also couldn't enjoy the very beautiful hilltop view of Sorrento. There were several open tables with a better view that remained open for the 90 minutes that we were there. One waiter tried his best to juggle tables, but the majority of wait staff ignored us in favor of other tables. While the appetizers and wine were fairly good, our main courses were just terrible for the price we paid. The tuna was burnt on the outside, the veal unsalted and bland. In my opinion, it is worth paying slightly more at other rooftop restaurants in the area for a better exper...

Abbiamo prenotato per il 1930 sul patio, solo per essere seduti nell'angolo accanto a un altoparlante. Non solo non ho potuto sentire il mio appuntamento, ma anche non potevo godermi la bellissima vista collinare di Sorrento. Ci sono stati diversi tavoli aperti con una vista migliore che è rimasto aperto per i 90 minuti che eravamo lì. Un cameriere ha provato il suo meglio per i tavoli di gioco, ma la maggior parte del personale di attesa ci ha ignorato a favore di altri tavoli. Mentre gli antipasti e il vino erano abbastanza buoni, i nostri corsi principali erano solo terribili per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato. Radici del Sud was suggested to us and reserved for us by our hotel across the street. This restaurant has quite the ambiance, from the cordial and relaxed staff, to the food, to the amazing view offered to you when you eat here, no matter where you are on the terrace. You definitely want to come here around sunset. You don't really get the sunset itself. The beauty comes from seeing the darkness set in, and watch Sorrento and the coastal cities around the gulf light up and twinkle as you eat.
