really nice pub. the personal is beautiful here and the atmosphere is very welcoming. beautiful view and very relaxing pub. we are coming back here.

I enjoyed a meal with a lovely view of the river, and later I listened to some live music. The price per person was between £50 and £60. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4. I highly recommend trying the roast chicken!

Yes. Yes. Yes. Great pub on the river. Has a docking if you arrive on a boat. Lovely atmosphere and cosy. Eat in or outside or right on the river. Service is excellent all friendly and professional. The Sunday roast was phenomenal! We enjoyed a cozy little private room with six seats outside. I had the lamb ribs, which were wonderfully tender, accompanied by some crispy fried potatoes that had a nice bite to them, and of course, a delicious Yorkshire pudding. They also offer seating right by the river for a stunning view, and the service was attentive and friendly!

I highly recommend this pub, atmosphere, food and service is excellent. Staff went out of their way to ensure seating arrangements were perfect, and the manager and staff even offered to change the table and stools to make it more comfortable for my mum. I had a fantastic lunch here this Thursday. Sean took great care of us and even let us bring dessert to enjoy by the river. He went above and beyond while still being unobtrusive. The food was amazing; you must try the cabbage and bacon—I could easily have just a bowl of that for a meal! I didn’t think to take any pictures, but I highly recommend this place. loved this pub, friendly and helpful staff. the garden at the entrance is beautiful, covered, heated and comfortable sofas. there are also small sheds with esstic for groups. there is also a snug that is available for groups of up to 30 guests, menu looks beautiful, although we had already eaten before we arrived. will soon be red lion! areas of improvement: loos could do with more beautiful shallow!

While I thought the soup was acceptable, I couldn't help but feel that a similar flavor from M&S was actually sweeter and creamier. I believe this issue with the soup should be addressed, as it could potentially deter customers. With the rising economic pressures, fewer people can afford to dine out, so it's crucial to prioritize customer satisfaction to encourage repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth about your food. Lovely riverside pub with a very good selection of interesting beers and a beautiful riverside terrace with some great views. Food looks interesting but expensive. There is parking and also good seating options inside and at the garden as well. The service is friendly and the venue was clean and well organised. You need to cross a busy road to get to the riverside terrace but you can order and the waitress will bring it to you. Well worth a visit.
