"The view of the Lac de Neuchâtel is the top reason to visit the Auberge de la Tène, but the cuisine is quite excellent as well, although you do pay a premium for the luscious lake vistas. The perch filets, ubiquitous in the region, are...savory and slathered in a buttery sauce. The pork belly--a daily special--was absolutely scrumptious, but at 42 francs a bit steep for lunch fare...the röstis were far more modestly priced, and available in a dozen varieties as well. Be sure to feed the collective parking meter and place your ticket inside the windshield--parking enforcement seems quite efficient along the lakeshore!"

I liked the view facing the frozen lake. I ordered pan fried foie gras, not spectacular. My main dish was steak, nothing special.

Oh my god never again the food was so horrible. We had a hamburger and the meat was raw. And the workers there just speak french. Never going there again in my life !!!

What a lovely place to have dinner with a beautiful view of the lake... the service was great as was food... especially liked the grilled shrimp... the Neufchâtel Pinot Gris was the best we had during our weeklong visit

we had a company Christmas event there and it was sooo cool. apero was beautiful with homemade fleees and flames. then we had foie grass. Finally, the meat was so good, tender and with many mushrooms in the sauce, served with a little sweet. and homemade gnocchi.
