"Restaurant à la déco inexistante. Je dirai même très moche. De la nappe aux chaises, au plafond percé en passant par la table sous laquelle on ne peut pas plier les jambes. Du moins celle que j'avais.La pizza marguerita sans plus.La salade de chèvre chaud avec 4 petits morceaux de rondin banales posés sur de la baguette avec les bords brûlés. Les spaghettis carbonara étaient bonnes.La bavette au roquefort aussi.Service correcte. Selon moi le prix est trop élevé pour le secteur. Je n'y retournerai pas et ne le conseillerai pas non plus."

"Formule à 17€ (entrée, plat, dessert) le midi en semaine, sauf le week-end et jours fériés.Pour ma part, je m'y suis rendu un samedi midi, j'ai choisi le menu à 25,50€ (entrée, plat, dessert, avec un large choix): c'est le moins onéreux, mais je me suis régalé, les plats sont gastronomiques mais copieux et savoureux.Attention: penser à réserver, car nombre de places limitées; le service est un peu long également."

"Surtout n'hésitez pas une seconde avant de vous rendre dans ce restaurant mais allez y le ventre vide, les rations sont conséquentes! Nous avons mangé des crêpes délicieuses et ne parlons pas des desserts gourmands, à damner un saint (les profiteroles un délice et le crumble qui avait l'air divin). Personnel aimable et souriant. Rien à dire, on y retournera!"

"This was our first visit to Le Brantalou. We knew to expect a busy holiday environment, even allowing for COVID restrictions, but were not as prepared as we thought for the experience that ensued! The staff were friendly enough and the Chef passed by our table to welcome us before we ordered, which was a nice touch. There were hoards of holiday-makers bustling through the restaurant and around the pool and we happened to choose an evening when the Kids’ Club was in full flow (with disco and lights! . We were sitting adjacent to the pool which would have been fine on any other evening. There was also a sizeable group of people drinking large quantities of red wine and clearly relishing the experience! The food was OK but rather expensive and didn’t live up to our expectations. Nothing special. Can’t say much more than that. We would probably give the restaurant another try, out of season, but our evening was less than relaxing, rather raucous and we were quite exhausted by the time we returned home! We were left feeling a little disappointed."

"Last year, when this was Cafe Cyber de la Gare, we did not eat here because every advertised menu item seemed to be some sort of grilled meat with chips.This year, having seen that the Cyber had been removed from the awning and that Chez Marie-Claude had been added to the name on TripAdvisor, we decided to have lunch there. There is a three course menu for 15.70 Given that desserts are usually unsuitable for my dairy-free husband, we opted for just a plat at 10.00. After a quick discussion with the waitress re "produits du lait", my husband chose the liver, bien cuit, and I chose the blanquette de veau. We had time to admire the rustique furnishings and marble-topped bar while listening to and smelling the liver and onions being freshly cooked. My blanqette included some vegetables in the stew and the rice was light and fluffy - the best rice I have had in France. It was lunchtime in France and the protion sizes made for a leisurley meal. We had coffe which was okay, bar-style rather than cafe-style, and a little expensive at 1.45 and 2.90 (with milk). I could not pay with a card (they do not have a terminal). The cashier offered to take a cheque but seemed pleased when I produced argent. She explained to be where the post office was so that I could replenish my cash."
