"We ate here twice while in Turckheim. Reservations are encouraged. The wait staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to share plates which allowed us to have appetizer, main and dessert. We tried the slow cooked ham hock and veal cordon blue with...mushroom sauce. Appetizers were salad and escargots; I only had the salad which had an amazing dressing. Desserts were ice cream with liquor sauce, chocolate cake and creme brûlée. My favorite dessert was the creme brûlée as the cream was the best I ever had. Will return to restaurant on my next travel here."

"We stayed in Turckheim to visit the WWII museum (deserved stop) and find a place for lunch. We went from several, whose menus were the same old. Found Le Stewala and noticed the more interesting menu of the day. Found lunch to be far beyond our expectations. The Prix Fixe was beautiful sausages of two styles with red cabbage and noodles. The sausages were delicious and red cabbage was at a completely new level of excellence. The cream Brûlée was as silky as you want. Others had a wonderful trout and a dessert of fresh plums boiled in red wine and served with a Speculos ice cream. Would come back in a minute."

"the aberuch bears its name well because if it is a restaurant that slaughters all thirst, it is this one the setting, the privileged context of its situation evokes that of the eyes; the card of extremely relevant drinks, the one we all know; as for the different dishes that are offered to us, they are delicious, delicate and generous. "Un déjeuner un lundi très agréable. La jolie façade du restaurant a tout le charme d'une maison alsacienne. L'accueil est aimable et sympathique. La grande salle est sobre avec de belles bouteilles d'exception posées à certains endroits. Elles sont bien évidemment vides et ont été dégustées par d'autres clients amateurs de vins d'exception. Les menus et la carte proposent des plats variés à des prix très étudiés. Il y deux grandes cartes des vins que nous n'avons pas ouvertes. Nous avons préféré choisir des vins au verre. Les mets sont de qualité et les cuissons maitrisées. Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans ce restaurant où nous reviendrons très certainement pour le très bon rapport qualité prix, l'accueil, le service, les explications et découvrir la fabuleuse carte des vins."
