"Our first meal on a trying day traveling to meet up with friends on holiday. this restaurant has a superb terrace overlooking the Elbe. We ordered on the terrace but had to come inside as a heavy shower passed over. I ordered fish and would rate the meal as 5 star. Excellent from start to finish . The other 3 in our party ordered steak. 2 of the steaks were sent back not cooked as requested and and still returned undercooked. The sirloin was very fatty but that is often the case in Europe compared to 'sirloin ' in the UK. So a very mixed experience indeed. Great setting and just down the road from the hotel. Staff were excellent and the atmosphere was very good aided by the fact the world cup final was on in the bar area"

We had a great night at this restaurant. It was a beautiful balmy evening and we sat out on the terrace soaking up the view. The meal was very nice and lovely service.

We heard about the Bellotto restaurant in a book - and we were glad we did! A bit hard to find if you're not looking for it, the restaurant is located on Theater Platz.The place offers terrific food, great view and friendly service - all in affordable prices. Recommended!

After my long Search of good Italian restaurant in Dresden is ended with Ristorante Bellotto, which is inside italienisches Dorfchen. Ristorante Bellotto is on the first floor. The first impression as you enter the restaurant is its beautiful bar area with a couple of tables...More

I went there to enjoy the view and have lunch. I ordered a Risoto and it was done with regular rice (not arboreo or risoto rice)....Ok despite the risotto not be the best I've ate ( Risotto is one those favorites dishes and I've been in Italy for weeks) the salat was great and everything very fresh....I ordered one with honey, arbegine and lettuce. There're a few dining options inside Italienisches Dorfchen which is just a few steps from Semperoper. After some checking, I picked Belloto and it turned out to be a good choice. I was in a bit of a hurry to take the bus sightseeing tour after my lunch so I just had a spaghetti alla carbonara. It tasted good and was reasonably priced (around 11 euros). That service was good and there's a nice view from the dining hall.

We came by here for a coffee break before continuing on our walking tour in the area (visiting the palaces, opera theatre and museums etc)/The Italian restaurant was spacious, bright and very beautiful with lovely decors and design with the nice furniture and woodcraft! It was not crowded when we arrived.What we liked best was the alfresco seats outside the restaurant where we could have a good view on the river and opposite bank with lovely buildings and houses.We ordered the tiramisu coffee and it was very good, flavourful with nice aroma. Staff was friendly and efficient too!We enjoyed and loved the view on the surrounding scenery. So scenic and tranquil!
