On a sunny day it is very nice to sit outside with magnificent views of the Cavloc lake with its green color. Polandta and mushrooms very nice, but a little heavy (same price, but we need to remember where we are). The cakes are delicious, especially with local ingredients as chestnuts and blueberries. This place is worth the walk, overlooking a mountain lake, surrounded by some of the highest peaks in the Alps. Park in Maloja and hike or bike (it climbs around 200m on a gravel road that gently winds through the landscape. Service is friendly and very fast, food is varied from small light snacks to the traditional farewell and plate of the game. The prices are good. Open 10-16:30 in summer.

deceiting to whistling! we were in this beautiful lake, with a radiant sunshine and experienced the disappointment of our holiday for the quality offered and the prices that are absolutely cheerful for them. for a small poor bratwurst with an acidic potato salad as supplement 20 francs, this is already a frecher. the rich root bread, was dry and some days old. our tipp, a nice grill place on the lake and the restaurant to avoid. Too bad there is something in the engadin, we were speechless with our 4 family.

We had just finished hiking Maloja and decided to eat at the lake for lunch. It turned out to be a very pleasant surprise of one of the better lunches we had during hiking in the area. The terrace of Ristorante Cavloccio overlooked a small beach on the shores of Lake Cavloc. With picnic tables (and very friendly table service!) it was a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing lunch outdoors.
