The best Indian we’ve ever had, I’m vegetarian so didn’t have any meat but I can imagine it’s absolutely delicious! We’re here on a little family trip and I can’t wait to come back and get another Indian takeaway for here

We were staying in the area and Roots of India was recommended to us. Really tasty fresh meals and good value, easy to pre-order online ,will definitely use this restaurant for a takeaway when we're next visiting Stanhope.

Can't believe the quality of the food. I have eaten many curries over the years and this is the tops. I have eaten curries in Bradford the mecca of curries but none as flavoursome as what we had tonight. Onion bhaji best ever. Thank you...

We have used this Indian twice and on both occasions the food was beautiful. Everything tasted lovely and the food was piping hot. The staff are friendly and helpful. We have eaten many Indian meals and these are up there with the best of them....

Had food from here twice during our latest stay at Stanhope and it was excellent. Really well cooked, tasty dishes lamb tikka dupiaza, chicken tikka Rohan josh, chicken Malaya (with mango), and all the side orders. Just lovely food and friendly people. Thank you.
