I first came to lunch with my daughter and was very happy. very cheap, decent menu and nice quiet atmosphere. out with a coffee and the looks are beautiful.

Held my daughter's 18th party there on 27th October and ordered the cold buffet.... It was absolutely brilliant....staff were great, the buffet was fantastic and a great time was had by all ... Thank you for a great night!!!!!

beautiful, dug dach pub in a beautiful village location. we had fish and chips, the best I had in a long time and at a very good price and washed with a good pint tigerbitter. shame his about 20 miles of being I live, it would be a big local

We invited 40 family and friends to join us for lunch at the Rose and Crown to celebrate a 70th birthday. Everyone was catered for, the food delicious, plentiful and hot. This included children vegan vegetarian and gluten free options. The staff were helpful and attentive, nothing being too much trouble. Thank you to all we would definitely recommend

I honestly do not want to leave a rating. When arriving it was busy which was understandable for a Friday evening but when arriving with one of our parties in a wheelchair it seemed to be a problem with the staff! I overheard at the bar when ordering drinks that the staff were complaining that someone was in a wheelchair. When trying to order food the waitress seemed reluctant to take any orders from us saying it is very busy, yet others around where ordering food with no problem. We left disgusted by the lack of hospitality!!!!

The best summer pub around. I defy anyone to not enjoy a drink sat outside in the summer over looking fields in Thurnby Stoughton. An old established village pub with 2 separate bars, one mainly for meals. The food is typical pub grub, but great just for a quick meal a couple of drinks... Also has a skittle alley.... The R C has been part of my life for nearly 50 yrs. The view hasn't changed but the pub has tidied up the garden to make the view far easier on the eye.
