"from a lively street and a little south of the center of eating, this is a small restaurant with a charming cooker. the great selection of empty bottles of top wine is a serious enthusiast and the list is certainly. a reflection of it. we chose a delicious spatburgunder from a small well-known producer who at euros was a good offer. the menu is limited on a board as well as place cards, the choice is inconspicuous in a small operation, but all we had was very tasty, well cooked and presented. there was a person in the restaurant and she was very friendly, spoke excellent English and we were well looked after. it is not cheap, but very close to michelin star standard and will be on our list when we next return to eat."

we were in this place for the first time. the tip of the friend was a perfect one. excellent kitchen, great service and a harmonious ambiente. highly recommended! we're coming back.

eat and wee there are the extra class. personal is very pleasant at least for my taste, and not as exaggerated, as unfortunately it is often found in more demanding restaurants. To feel comfortable and happy to come back!

very good value for money, nice service and flexible in gluten-free nutrition (shadow spontaneously even gluten-free bread available). tasty and exciting wein recommendations were made by the cook personally. many thanks for the beautiful experience!

during the entry we were told that at as it was only we were not worried about it. but when we finished our main and only cure, the waitress came and reminded us that we were close to it now, so we left without coffee. cook good, but what a strange reception.

Would I go again: YESWas the food good: YESFair price value: YESExcellent French bistro restaurant in Essen. Menu changes daily. Starters 12 16 EUR, mains 24 32 EUR. Extensive wine list. Friendly, kind service. The meals are prepared freshly. We went with coq au vin and bœuf bourguignon, bouillabaisse and deer ravioli for starter. Each dish was simply delicious and top notch.

what I really enjoyed at this place was the service: our waitress was really nice, explained everything thoroughly and was extremely polite and friendly. about eating. it was a disappointment to a certain degree. very strange mad-en-bouche: some stinking fish with pumpkin definitiw. fish was not fresh. the starter, oktopus, was in order, but with so much pfeffer and spicy it was hard to identify whether it was fresh or not, most likely not. main course, lame, was too salty and more mediocre when they ask me. the food I enjoyed most in this restaurant was the brot. can not say that the restaurant is especially bad if they are really hungry, then it will do but if they want to divert some joy...
