Sainsburys - Piatti

I go to this Sainsbury’s everyday and I can’t thin of anything it doesn’t have! Although it’s big it has a very wide range of stock along with a tutoring business, dentist and cafe!

I usually do some add-on shopping in this large Sainsbury and have lunch here regularly. Food is no frills and not expensive, but it is nothing to shout about. Parking is usually adequate.

Food and drinks are generally good but they should have more stuff because tables are usually dirty and the place looks a mess. Plus it takes a lot of time for the food to come to the table. Visualizza piatti

Went for breakfast. Excellent choice on menu. The smashed avocado and smoked salmon was a real treat. Flat white coffee was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely pop in for breakfast again.

Good size store with everything you need for your monthly grocery shop. There is an Argos and as well as a chemist and cafe. They also have the smart shop system which means I never stand in a queue to pay!!

Lunch..We were told that the good would take 20 minutes... 45 minutes later, we were wondering why we did not go to our local for the same price, a proper service and a much better hygiene... Will not come back. Visualizza piatti

This cafe has some serious issues. Extremely slow staff on the till resulted in a 20 odd minute wait to order some food. 45 minutes to receive it. We saw others attempting to complain and one couple asking for a refund. No manager in sight to witness the shambles. The food is pretty poor as well. Portions inconsistent, they run out of items on the menu and it’s all thrown on your plate. People are paying good money for this privilege. I think they should get somebody in to run the place properly instead of turning a blind eye and hoping for the best...

This is the fist time we’ve visited the cafe since it’s relocation on completion of the major store refurbishment a few years back. It’s hidden away on a mezzanine floor with access via stairs or lift to left of store entrance. It was quite empty on the midweek lunchtime we visited and that’s probably due to it’s location with most customers not realising where it is (or even if it’s there to us this is a bonus as most store cafes are rammed, especially lunch times. There was only a short queue to get served and there’s a wide expanse of seating, either at cafeteria type tables or on more comfortable chairs (but with a lot of much lower tables also a few booths. My daughter in law, toddler grandchild and I went in here on Saturday 3 March. There were no hot meals available due to technical issues . There was nonetheless a queue of people waiting to pay, as the cashier was painfully slow and the second till was not manned. No other member of staff was available to readily communicate with, so I called out to catch someone 's attention and I asked if they were still able to toast the toastie sandwiches. They could, but when we got to the till there was no-one around to do so, so when the same chap came over to correct an error on the till I again had to proactively ask if he would toast them.
