"new visit, this time dinner on the terrace, beautiful realization of all dishes. well crispy veal ris, a tomato-based entry with an explosion of flavors. dessert very good, fishing was a little generosity. I stay on the 4 stars because the price of some wines has been flambéed, some bottles have been taken €10.00 in 2 months, the cut of the louise cuvée has passed from €18 to €26. First opinion: rather not bad in general. the restaurant entrance is not very well indicated. The veal ris was not really crunchy as stipulated in the menu. From chocolate to dessert quite average to my taste. generous plate of cheese. Very nice wine card. Champagne cuvée louise to the top. long-lasting cut."

It was a really nice experience to dine inside a castle, the service by the students was good. The food was also cooked nicely, some flavour combination were not to my tasting. Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 3/5

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there.We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious.For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable.One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
