"I don’t normally write reviews unless the product/service is exceptionally good (or bad). This was a delivery order for 3 savoury crepe meals and tried this place for the first time. Great food and great service. The food was a little late (to be fair no other takeaway/restaurant covers this distance in the first place), called the restaurant and both people I spoke to were polite, called the driver and gave an accurate ETA. Normally when you call somewhere, they just grunt on the phone with the default answer of ‘5 minutes’.The food arrived and again the delivery driver was extremely polite and professional. I was hoping the food would live up to the service standards and it certainly did. The packaging was also great, and helped keep the food hot and drinks cold. Quality of ingredients was great and the concept really works. Well done and keep it up."

"As a muslim woman who is reluctant to go to cafes to work due to the limitations of finding somewhere to pray, I was humbly taken aback by the kind gesture made by the staff members (Paul and Arielle) at Java Joe who provided me with the utmost comfortability to perform my prayers. He even offered to block off an area for me. This meant more than words can express. From the 5* warm service of the staff to the amazing coffee (caramel latte) and food (which is brought to your table). This is hands down going to be my go to cafe from now on. The community that comes to the cafe is also very warm and they are nice to keep to their own business. Also a massive plus point for anyone supporting the boycott movement and are looking for alternatives to soft drinks like (Coca cola ect) they have Karma cola and other options available! I would highly highly highly recommend this cafe to everyone!!"

"This was our first visit and I would certainly go again. The food is great and we were especially impressed with the tasting menus where we could sample multiple dishes. Our waitress was extremely helpful, taking time to talk us through the menu. We really appreciated the attention we were given as we were unsure about some of the foods. I would recommend this restaurant for the food, the civilised atmosphere, the reasonable prices and the marvellous staff."

"We came To the royal as a family of three in the school holidays. All of us had an absolutely delicious meal. The loaded steak burger is outstanding. We ordered a sundae to hare as a pudding and all I can say is wow. All three of us dug in and it was still plenty. They have really got everything just right. The lady serving us could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Can’t wait to return"

"I tried to do feed back as I was told I should via my receipt.Apparently my dish didn’t exist.Chicken Karahi.Was beyond dissapointed chicken thigh.I ate around 3 tiny pieces.At £12.95 I expected breast..I reported it to my server and another member of staff.Whom were lovely but just apologised and said it’s breast and thigh..Mine had not one piece of breast.Will not return.There is lot more decent restaurant and better value.I can’t believe all the curry houses up for awards are not even that nice."
