"I have been going to Shante for several years and I’m sorry to review it as Ok but it’s not what it used to be unfortunately. Went for lunch same tapas menu has been in place for several months and not particularly interesting for vegetarians. I ordered a special tapa of garlic bread with chilli and rocket disappointingly the bread was thinly sliced and rocket was yellow and shrivelled. I was surprised any chef with self respect was happy to serve it and that the waiting staff didn’t question it either. It was a special if ingredients not up to scratch take it off!"

There were six in our party on Saturday lunchtime, the restaurant wasn't too busy, I had requested a quiet table in the corner which we were given. The staff were welcoming and attentive, we opted for tapas all of which were really good, the chefs choice platter for £10 was really good value. We had a long leisurely lunch in pleasant contemporary surroundings, I would go again

Overall an excellent dining experience.We both stuck to daily specials menu and all 3 courses were great, especially memorable was orange creme brûlée. Wine was good value, from a varied list offering a wide enough range for most . All topped of by fantastic service efficient and knowledgeable about ingredients and prep of dishes. Will return very soon , now firmly our favourite restaurant in Perth.
