This small, family owned restaurant lives up to the hype, no doubt! Great food, great environment and authentic ingredients. Definitely recommend.

Discovered this place by happy accident with a friend and it was really lovely. Delicious authentic Italian favourites, amazing service and atmosphere.

The athmosphere is relaxed and there are a lot of italian goodies and wines you can buy. Service is friendly and the pasta dishes are nicely good with lots of options. Pizza wasnt the beat i ve had but still ok. Visualizza piatti

Great pasta and pizza reasonably priced with a good, nice ambience and friendly staff. Absolutely delicious food served in a cosy and really friendly italian way! I would recommend it to anyone who loves proper Italian food.

We went for lunch and were disappointed to find that the kitchen does not open until 12 noon. We started with an antipasti dish, which was thinly sliced but lacked variety in the ham selection. Overall, we found it to be unsatisfactory.

This restaurant recommended me. We were a group of 4 and ordered 4 fresh pasta and 1 pizza to share with each other. I was surprised at the price of pasta (average 14 dishes). I've eaten here three times in the last few weeks. It's a great place to take a bite and it's off the road, which I didn't know was there, unless they lived locally or on foot. The food is fantastic, I've tried two different pizzas and lasagna. Pizzas are certainly the best you can find in the area, the ingredients are very tasty and fresh and authentic. The lasagna was also very good. The owner is very friendly and very passionate about the food he serves. Some friends have tried my recommendation and I really enjoyed it.

Tucked away on a small shopping parade and easily missable, Saponara is well worth seeking out. Although the menu highlights a generous choice of pizzas, the pasta dishes (the selection of the day cleverly explained at your table with a visual sample of each) proved the highlight of our meal. The homely rustic interior has limited table space, which is not a problem in summer when the seating area extends outside, but safer to reserve in advance to be sure of being accommodated. Another nice touch is the vegetarian amuse bouche which prepares you for what is to come. Good Sicilian house wine and an excellent tiramisu completed our satisfying meal. I visited my girlfriend last Thursday. The restaurant seems to be a hidden gem, I must admit that walking to the restaurant I wonder if we were in the right place. It has a nice outdoor area with a couple of tables and then probably about 8 to 10 tables inside. It is a rather small restaurant, but it did not feel crowded, in any case it felt very cozy. They have some fantastic products there, so I'm pretty sure you can buy.I had salami pizza (I don't remember the exact name) also had sausage and chili.
