"we had dinner in a very hot evening. there was no air conditioning and with hot eating we were not very comfortable. we found a fly in the beer and a long hair in the salat, but apart from that, eating was nice. we. ordered pasta, pizza and salat as main courses and carpaccio as starter. the price was around 26€ per person, mainly because of the carpaccio, but a main course between 10 and 15€. the service was normal, maybe a little slow. no credit cards are admitted, only cash money. and not much English, only German and Italian!"

This is a cute little restaurant where the pizza is good and available both for eat in or take away. The waitress was nice and would return willingly to try other dishes.

Visited this little restaurant and had a lovely pizza and a great fresh salad. Not the largest place, but well priced food, cooked to order and a very large menu, with something to suit most

Sardegna was recommended by my Hotel and it was a nice experience. I had a large house salad and pizza and there were both very good. The service was good as well. If you are near by, this is a good choice.

after a long, tiresome journey to herrenberg and a pizza, this restaurant was recommended as “a good place to eat”. absolute! totally friendly place. chef is by sardegna, although the menu is standard Italian. very generous pizza and very economical....I will go back to taste the pastas. I recommend it thoroughly!

After a long, tiring trip to get to Herrenberg, and fancying a pizza, this restaurant was recommended as “a good local place to eat”. Absolutely! Totally friendly place. Chef is from Sardegna though the menu is standard Italian. Very generous sized pizza and very economical....I will go back to sample the pastas. I thoroughly recommend it!

it can best be described as an Italian, cozy restaurant. pizza, pasta, meat, wing and fish dishes. services were not too fast, but the restaurant was not loud at all. my pizza was good and I have seen many! price acceptable. the only problem. I had that all open weeping were Italian nature. I had to despise this with local beer, to my disappointment.

We were staying at a hotel just across the road and we arrived late, this was the best looking place nearby and we had a great meal! The four cheese pizza and the Sardinian sausage pizza were both delicious, not too oily, not too messy,...just right. The service was friendly and efficient, all in all it was a very enjoyable meal! 32euro for 2 people with a glass if wine each!

On our way from the Netherlands to the German-Austrian border, we had a stop-over in Stuttgart and just by coincidence we discovered Sardegna. It's a family (of course from Sardinia) driven restaurant. It's straight forward: good quality food, relaxed service and a more than good...price/quality balance. So, if you're around Stuttgart-Feuerbach, just have lunch or dinner here, you won't regret it.

It can be best described as an Italianowned, cosy restaurant. Pizza, pasta, meat, poultry and fish dishes. Services was not too fast, but the restaurant was not noisy at all. My pizza was good, and I've seen plenty of them! Pricing acceptable. The only problem...I had was that all open wines were Italian at exhorbitant glassprices. This I had to be contempt with local beer, to my disappointment...

"Wow. Simply Awesome! Best dining experience my wife and I have had in several years, probably top all time, and we are real foodie snobs. They squeezed us in with only a couple hours notice. We got the course menu paired with wine....Little did we know that six courses in metric means First came the amouse bouse, a frothy chicken soup plus a croquette topped with dried mushrooms. Paired with wine of course. Then came a home made freshly baked baguette that was crazy delicious served with a dish of sour cream and chives as well as butter with pumpkin seeds. The bread was so good it could have been its own course, and the sour cream was the first of many unusual com I nations, but it worked. Next was a salad a combination of beet root, cabbage, Thai coconut milk and lemon grass. I hate beets and I loved this dish. Next wa the first actual course, duck liver pate and brioche with figs and wine sauce. Amazing! Now how about some slow cooked trout (which strongly resembled salmon) with tangerines and celery root. Then some white cod with Jerusalem artichokes and hazel nuts. Then, to cleanse the palate a glass of deer broth served in a glass like a brandy snifter. We're only halfway through. Now it's a slab of deer meat cooked like a tender steak, served with a cannelloni stuffed with deer and all set over mashed parsley root that could have passed as mashed potatoes. All garnished with an amazing deer gravy/sauce. Next comes some mont d'or cheese served with house made fruit bread, oranges, and rutabaga. Crazy com o but it was delicious. Now for dessert courses. Red wine sorbet. Think you're done? Next comes white chocolate ice cream serve with quince (purée, cubes, and foam) served with a chestnut parfait. Now we're stuffed, but time for another dessert: creme brulee paired with a chocolate brownie and a serving of mango mousse. Crazy good."
