"We paid a visit to Schiller's Backstube for some breakfast on a Sunday morning. The location is quite ideal with the Backstube being a short stroll from Potsdamer Platz, but it's a shame that they did not make more out of it. Breads and pastries in the baskets looked like they had been heated up yesterday, and the fridge looked quite empty with little choice. For VEGANS and GLUTEN intolerant guests there was little to no choice. Our only fresh hope was the vegan soup, for which we came too early as it was only served from lunch onwards. On the website, it seems, they offer more than they actually have.Interior was nice and clean with a good overview of the products. Prices were generally decent. Staff was not impressive and careless/moody, and the lady behind the counter was on her laptop in the back while a queue was waiting to order out in front. Staff creates the atmosphere, and it felt very heavy and "abandoned"´which gave us the desire to leave as quickly as possible after a coffee.PROS:- Nice and clean interior- Location very good- Prices are goodCONS:- Moody staff- Half-empty fridges- Limited foods, not fresh- No music (this place needed it!)SUMMARY: We had higher expectations, and a great location like this deserves better care."

This is a very smart, friendly and clean cafe. We used it for breakfast and lunch when we visited Potsdamer Platz. The owner spoke excellent English, as opposed to our terrible German, and we were made to feel very welcome. Visualizza piatti

Very delicious salad and chicken sluice. Here are more frequent in the lunch break and this is a very good and cost-effective alternative to the large shopping mall next door. The service is super friendly and also very fast.
