"I have had the chance to go there for dinner one night. My grandparents came spontaneously to visit me while I was in Austria so I decided to book a room there. On the phone she agreed on having a room available, I even sent her an email. I didn't get a confirmation however I didn't think of anything as I was sure it's reserved. I mean, I called just hours before and was told that I am all set. My grandparents then went to check-in where they were told they are sold out and being walked to another "Pension" just across the street. It didn't really bother them too much but made me look bad on the other side. The room they got there was in a private house which was more expensive then the previously booked room at Schlick where they would have had to compare a full service. We still agreed on going there for dinner. We were again serviced by the boss lady who was the most rude and unfriendly person I have met in my entire life. We asked for a dessert for the inconvenience where she just rudely answered: well, you haven't gotten an confirmation from me. Not that we couldn't afford dessert, but it was just embarrassing for me as well as I arranged the room before. Where then I was just shocked, we are in the middle of nowhere in a no-name hotel/restaurant, who the heck she think she is!! As I work nearby and did first send consumers along the way, I will never send anyone there again and will not recommend it! The food was okay and the gentleman from Slovakia (I believe) was very kind and nice and deserves to work at a better location than having this person as a boss. Around the lake there are more nicer properties with better quality of food and exceptional service, no need to specifically choose them instead."

Service is very slow and rude. We only went once. Staff are overstretched as there is an outside bar/cafe across the road.

The restaurant serves from the regular menu of 11.30 -14h and 18-21h. When you come between these times, they do not serve most food from the regular menu, including the vegan dish. But they still have vegetarian salads and pizza.

We actually stayed in this hotel but a few nights we chose to eat outside by the lake from the al a carte menu. Food delicious, excellent presentation and huge portions. Very good for vegeterians, with at least 5 choices not including about 5 fish dishes.

After a year I came back to this place and ordered again a great vegan curry from the menu. Actually, it's with vegetables and tofu. We had a great dinner. In the evening you need a reservation for dinner, as we did not come back for lunch the next day. For lunch we called an hour in advance and got a free table. I really love the beautiful outdoor seas next to the lake!

The only positive aspect of this restaurant is a magnificient lake view. Especially during sunset.Food is very average. As a quick lunch or dinner it is ok, but we do not recommend this place if you want to really enjoy good food. But the worst experience was very poor service. Rude staff, who do not appreciate their guest, not helpful at all. Especially the middle-aged lady, who spoke to us only in German, pretended she can´t speak English, although she could and understood us very well.
