it was a great night in the oktober. the food was delicious and the house was also very good. only the crawlers we had imagined differently.

after our trip through the **** we had earned a good meal. here we have become folly. a great steak and a delicious B’ieramisu for me. a beautiful cool light. was all delicious.

Being along the main road into and out of the tourist mecca that is Schwangau, it's no shocker this place can be overrun with tourists. That being said, the service was good and the food was excellent, and the beer was top marks.Plus the view is killer. Sit outside if you can. Visualizza piatti

We went here because it was recommended by the owner of our rental but I was disappointed. Average German cuisine and grumpy customer service. One nice thing is the view of the castle from outside, but because it had rained earlier we were not allowed to sit outside. Instead we had to sit in the tented area next to smoking customers :(

We visited on a Thursday evening. While the restaurant was relatively busy, no reservation was needed. The stake and vegetarian dishes with beer sauce were delicious even for a person who doesn't like beer (Wienerschnitzel less so). Apfelstrudel was heavenly. On the night that we visited, there was a Schwangauer orchestra and a choir from a village close by performing. Overall a nice experience with good food and friendly service.

Yes I know it can get busy and a little touristy, but aren't we one of them! We stayed 200m away from the Schlossbrauhaus and weren't disturbed once, not even on the evening of the "Prom" when over 400 attended! We found the staff excellent. The food was good, well priced and easily washed down by its own brew! The various areas which make up the business add to its appeal, with traditional alpine stuberl, outdoor areas and a covered area which if it rains has a transparent "gazebo" wall drop from the ceiling so one can still admire the views. We were in the area to visit Neuscwanstein, and my wife found mention of this place in recommendations made by our accomodation. Being a beer geek it was an obvious, and as it happened an excellent choice.I think they had the best Bavarian beers of our trip, maybe some of the best beers overall. All very well brewed, clean, excellent examples of their styles. I drank my way through their offerings; which the wait staff realised and began anticipating my next choice.Food was excellent traditional Bavarian fare; schnitzel, pork knuckle, all very tasty. Found this little gem from a recommendation in a guide book...so glad. We had a 10:20 reservation at Neuschwanstein Castle so it was the perfect post Castle spot for lunch. Venue is large with mini golf and a bowling alley. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Highly recommend outdoor seating if available...view of the Castle is lovely. Watch paragliders float down from the mountain tops while you enjoy your beer and meal. Jungle gym type area for the kids to enjoy. Bus and bike tours frequent this establishment so be aware it can get crowded quickly and large areas can be reserved which can limit seating. English menus available. Food was amazing!!! We ate at this restaurant because it was part of our bus tour to the Neuschwanstein Castle. The staff provided good service and were good humored (odd for Germany), but the food was not the greatest -- the mistake could have been with what we ordered. My 24 year old son got Pork Knuckle and Knödel which are dumplings. My son said the pork was good, but we all agreed the dumplings were not - must be an acquired taste. My husbands brats and sauerkraut were good. I got the mushroom dumplings and sauce. Not good at all -- but the sauce over the dumplings was tasty.
