"Pleasant ambience, friendly, unobtrusive service. It is very appreciated that the water in a liter jug is free of charge with or without carbon dioxide! is served. Then comes an excellent homemade bread after compliments it was handed over without being asked. The dishes are sophisticated, finely cooked and beautifully presented. The wine list presents expensive wines as well as wines at affordable prices. I've been there twice and would love to come back."

"Unfortunately our experience was not positive. When we booked a table on the phone they didn’t tell us that in the evening there was only a self service menu option (no menu) for fixed price. Once there it was difficult to go away since there’s not much around it. The towel of the table was dirty from the previous guests, we asked to change it and they didn’t. They said that we could have eaten how much we wanted but the food finished soon. The total price for the self service in the bill was a bit higher than they told us when we arrived. The environment in the restaurant was super hot and humid. I hope this feedback will also help them to improve. Cheers."

"It is difficult to get to pizza places that offer vegan cheese, let alone delicious vegan cheese. So glad I found this place because their pizza enjoyed! You use Wilmersburg cheese, you can add the pizza to your wishes. It's just a take-off place, they make the pizza right in front of you and are fast. Definitely recommended!"

"This is probably my second-favorite restaurant in the immediate Altstetten area, coming in right after the La Taqueria. Food is always good and the value-for-money is also excellent considering Zurich prices). I live nearby, so I 've probably been here 15-20 times in the past year and a half since they opened, and every time am happy with the food and service. The pizzas are always great and with interesting variety including some with high quality special ingredients you don 't see elsewhere e.g. the Turicum pizza with mascarpone and boletus mushrooms is fantastic), all at very reasonable prices for Zurich ±18-25 chf, slightly cheaper if takeaway). The pastas also use freshly made noodles, which is pretty obvious from the taste, and the basics like carbonara are always delicious. There 's also a pretty wide selection of generic European cuisine, like steaks and cordon bleu, all of which is good but we tend to always get the specialties of pasta or pizza. Their specialty pizzas here are my favorite in Zurich although it 's not my favorite pizzeria in my entire life), and in general I find the food better than the big Italian chain restaurants like Santa Lucia and it 's miles better than the generic pizza and kebab restaurants that you find all over the place. I live close enough that it 's an easy visit for me every few weeks, but even if I moved to the other side of Zurich I 'm sure I would come back every now and then. The outside patio is great in summer, especially now that the construction at Farbhof is FINALLY finished after nearly 3 years. Well, there 's still construction, but now at least it 's 30 meters away across the intersection instead of directly in front of the restaurant, so it shouldn 't make it unbearably loud to sit outside this summer."

"Der kleine Garten ist schmuck und auch die Räumlichkeiten des Restaurants sind angenehm eingerichtet und dekoriert. Das Essen hat uns nicht vollends überzeugt. Die Vorspeise war geschmacklich zwar super und auch schön präsentiert, jedoch war die Ente wahnsinnig trocken und der Suppe fehlte die nötige Würze. Das Tofu-Curry war wiederum gut. Keine unnötigen Geschmacksverstärker am Werk. Ich hatte das Restaurant in bessererer Erinnerung. Der Service war weder freundlich noch unfreundlich und wirkte lustlos. Für den Lunch ist das Restaurant sicher zu empfehlen. Für ein feinen, vietnamesischen Abend würde ich nach Alternativen suchen."
