The Seahorse consistently excels in quality of food, customer service and relaxed atmosphere. The seafood is of he highest quality. I had a calamari spaghetti with a subtle squid ink and monkfish as a main, both outstanding. and a superb panna cotta with prunes and...armagnac.

One of the best seafood restaurants. Friendly atmosphere, wonderful cuisine. Clams and scallops best we've ever eaten anywhere! Beautiful locally supplied fresh fish. Desserts to die for. Would we go back? In a heartbeat! Just wish we could pick up the restaurant and take...it home. Thank you team Seahorse for a most memorable evening in Dartmouth.

this very central restaurant in dartmouth town is a real gem. we enjoyed a set menu 3 choices per curs) with their own excellent rose wein give exceptional value for money. the atmosphere is created by the friendly chef chef who is supported by a...big crew around him. must be booked well in advance, but thoroughly recommended and brilliant seafood cookery.

hi seahorse is one of the restaurants that I return to when in the opposite and eating was again very good a daring smaller problem that a lot of fish was not available and while they expect that the strange dish there was a...lot and that was 8pm. the table was in the middle of redtaurant and a bit tight with servers that were going to brush past but didn't want to stop me again.

Outstanding in every way. Front of house staff work to make it a special occasion. You are treated as if you are the only guest. The chef and his staff are skilled and worthy of the money charged. The kitchen is small but the staff...clearly all worked well together and produced outstanding dishes. The fish was simply perfect. Our main meal was Turbot. Filleted and served at the table (worth seeing the skill of the staff).

the seahorse in dartmouth sets the standard for seafood in Britain. with a price suggestion, including the best restaurant of the good food guide 2013 in Great Britain and recently the requested restaurant price of observer food monthly, he has tipped my favorite stone restaurant the hawskmoor on the post. but the hawksmoor lads aren't clogged, actually more the opposite. in a strange skill jump, the hawksmoor has recently joined the chef and co-owner withch tonks to open the new hawksmoor on the piccadilly air street.

Located in a GORGEOUS city, this restaurant features beautiful decor and ambiente, with excellent, friendly staff who offer a great experience. dog-friendly too! eating was very well presented as expected and they gave a great weeping recommendation. my starter oysters were beautiful and came with a helpful lection when I tried them before. the main course was a hit. the monk was filled and cooked for perfection. the kartoffels were perfect, Tempura cakes were divine, the beans were beautifully buttery and the tomatoes were simply incredible. this assessment is based on the overall experience. this evening, the seahorse visited for a very special occasion and had something different than something special. thinking back into the “Seahorse of old” was an experience in which one could feel, wanted and appreciated. we left last night the feeling as if it was now a special club we were not members.
