"As a group of three we stopped today for weisbiers’, and sat in the cafe area outside. The waitress was very helpful and took our order. Beers arrived but oddly we were asked to move along a table so they could lay the others for...the evening meal; happy to oblige. Another order of beer and soft drinks followed and we looked round to pay the bill, some Euros and something. Paid by cash with in notes which was collected by another waiter. The big thank you and smile as he walked off warned us that he wasn’t planning to give change, so called him back. Explained we were looking for change of which would still give around a tip. Presently appeared and we returned to our hotel. Maybe something out of nothing but having to request out change took the shine off our stay. We won’t be visiting Restaurant Sebald during the rest of stay in Nürnberg"

I was back in Sebald as a former Nuremberg. My expectations were met. We have eaten very stylishly and very well. The service is very attentive and polite. Then let the evening end at the bar and pamper with friendly bartenders. recommend a restaurant.

When we arrived the restaurant denied having our reservation, even though we had made it a couple of hours earlier. Shortly after they found us a table a large work group arrived for their Christmas celebration. All fine, except then we waited, and waited, and...waited for our meals to arrive. The waiter was very difficult to catch but promised that they were on their way. An hour later we got up to leave. The manager was very apologetic and begged us to stay and miraculously our meals arrived about two minutes later. We appreciated his apology but surely a restaurant that is expected a large group would plan for other guests to receive good service also. The food was fine
