Basically, if you are not blond or born in Austria you are not welcome. Never come here. The staff is rude. The waitress in the restaurants is the worst. If you ever want to feel unwilling, this is the place to come.

Had lunch here in their garden. Wife had lamb chops with steamed vegetables. I had schnitzel. Shared a mixed salad. Good Aporel spritz and weisbier. Food was excellent and service perfect! Very relaxing lunch next to the lake.

Planned to go to the White Hourse Inn Restaurants but see nobody at the main entrance, then saw this restaurant opposite with some guests coming out. I had lunch twice there and I stayed in St. Wolfgang for 2 nights! The food was good and service was also very good. And great view. And they have main dish in small portion which was great for an Asian lady!

We ate here many years ago and revisited that it was just as good to find. The staff is really nice, the menu is tempting and food excellent. For some dishes, a smaller help is offered, which often suits us well: we prefer quality as quantity... or sometimes just let an appetite for a desert. Extremely good value for such a good meal and a fabulous service.

We have started with garlic potato soup, it was very good and I recommend. I’ve proceeded with Wiener schnitzel, it was ok. My son took tomato risotto with tofu, it was also very good. Deserts were also very good (but I’m a sucker for deserts) Location of the restaurant is good and service is good as well. You can sit outside on terrace or inside if it is rainy day. Total 80€ for 4. Not expensive at all. Bottom line I recommend.

We were looking for a restaurant near the marketplace and came across this restaurant on the shore. It was too damp to sit outside, so we had a nice table inside. Our main courses were Kalb's liver and Char. Both were good and delicious, but not excellent. We then shared (on the recommendation of our waitress) an Kaiserschmarrn, who was really delicious and much for two. Our waitress was very pleasant and spoke good English. All in all a very beautiful experience.

We went there with 4 of us on pre-season Sunday lunch. First positive surprise was a continuous service. We were actually quite late. The food menu is mostly local and classic Austrian dishes. Tafelspitz, Schnitzel, Reinanke (whitefish). The food was very good. All cooked at the point and well seasoned. The highlight for us was the deserts. We shared Salzburger Nockerl and Kaiserschmarren. Both authentic and delicious. During summer they have serve at a wonderful terrace at the lake.

During our lakes and mountains hop-on-hop-off tour from Salzburg we stayed in St Wolfgang and after a good walk in this idyllic city we wanted to have a light lunch. We were lucky when we decided for this restaurant and more luck than we found an empty table next to the water. So we had an excellent opportunity to admire the scenery and various activities at the lake. We both had their deer toast, which was an ideal choise. Not too much, but enough to keep us happy by night. And the toast was a beautifully created combination of bread, meat, bacon, red onion, avocado sauce and a shrimp as decoration wasps were the only problems during lunch as they were a bit too much interest in my wife. We started to go to the White Horse Inn restaurant next door, but saw that there were some tables available here by the water under the trees, so we stopped in and we were so glad we did. Our waiter was very friendly. The view was gorgeous and our lunches were excellent. I got the boiled beef, although I was hesitant because of the name. Boiled beef doesn't sound very appetizing, but I ordered it anyway and I'm glad I did. It was a lot like pot roast that I'm used to. It was very tender. The fried potatoes were so flavorful.
