Shabu Sorrento Japanese Fusion

Great sushi, which was freshly prepared. Some unique dishes. Service was good. Renowned for its cocktails. Would definitely recommend.

Eccellente ristorante di fusion sushi che unisce l'innovazione italiana alla tradizione giapponese. Gianluca è sempre disponibile e gentile, oltre ad essere un mago dei cocktail!

This is one hell of a sushi place. We ordered seaweed salad which was perfect and then ordered another one, 2 tuna rolls( amazon and spicy tuna, 1 salmon roll with almonds and one roll with chicken onion teriyaki. Everything was really delicious and great on any standard. A must!

Ho trovato l'intera esperienza al Re-up/Shabu fantastica. Il menu dei cocktail era molto inventivo e a prezzi ragionevoli. Le porzioni erano molto più grandi di quanto mi aspettassi e il servizio era cordiale e professionale. Erano persino felici di imballare il nostro ultimo piatto perché eravamo così pieni.

Mia moglie voleva del riso e abbiamo provato questo secondo ristorante di sushi a Sorrento. Il primo ristorante di sushi, Misaki sushi, era autentico. Questo non lo era. Almeno quello che abbiamo ordinato assomigliava più a un risotto che a sushi. Buono, ma lontano dal sushi e cibi simili. Servizio veloce ed efficiente.

This place is also called REUP bar. It is famous for its cocktails and Japanese sushi. We took the tempura dish and a couple of sushi rolls. All in all a good experience, the only down side is it's really expensive! Each roll costs 8-9 euros! More than a big pizza tray. And in order to be satisfied, you would need to spend much more than in an Italian restaurant. We were so fed up with pizza and pasta we preferred that to anything else.

Quando a Sorrento, se hai bisogno di una pausa da Pizza e Pasta, mangia qui. Buon sushi, riso, pollo, piatti di gamberetti e antipasti edamame. I nostri ragazzi adoravano i gnocchi. I server sono dolorosamente gentile utile, ma la cucina sembra un po' lenta. (Uno dei nostri quattro pasti ha richiesto molto più tempo dell'altro te una notte. L'altra notte il nostro cibo di take away ha preso più tempo che promesso) Abbastanza strada pure. Provaci.

Questo ristorante si trova all'interno di ReUp, che è elencato come un ristorante tapas. Siamo stati sorpresi di trovare menu per Shabu giapponese sul tavolo, ma ha deciso di rimanere e mangiare perché stavamo cercando un ristorante per qualche tempo. Il pollo katsu (panko fritto fritto di pollo) era molto buono. Abbiamo anche ordinato 3 rotoli di sushi. Il pesce sembrava fresco e le combinazioni erano buone, ma il riso era troppo cotto e troppo freddo.

I had read the reviews from other visitors and seeking a change from the albeit excellent Italian food in Sorrento and having eaten sushi at various other excellent places around the world, we decided to try Shabu. At first impression, from the outside, it doesn't look so impressive but we weren't deterred and stuck with it and took a table inside. The interior is an unusual mix of industrial ducting and concrete with various old doors that have been hung on the wall as decoration; very Interesting.
