"Read the reviews so had high hopes we wanted to eat there as they have few tables outside very nice menu lots choice placed our order but had quite a long wait nobody cleared or cleaned the tables which wasn't covid friendly and they obviously have regular clientel whom seem to occupy most tables with coffees smoking and swearing so wasn't nicest environment or most enjoyable lunch experience-sorry! We didn't receive an apology for long wait and even tho the server could c used cups ashtray etc she didn't clear it, I wiped table myself with antibacterial wipes! However thr baguettes/ wraps were very nice with lots of filling at reasonable prices"

"I attempted to make a reservation a few days in advance for Saturday night, but unfortunately, I was unable to secure a spot. So, I decided to stop by for a glass of wine early on Saturday evening before it got crowded. I was pleasantly surprised by the charming atmosphere of the wine bar. We will definitely make sure to book in advance next time we are in the area. I also noticed their Cheese shop across the road in the Arcade, which looked amazing. Additionally, the sharing boards at the restaurant looked absolutely fantastic."

"What an amazing restaurant! We had heard that Twelve Eatery was worth visiting but I was sceptical about an all-vegan menu. How wrong I was! A fantastic evening from start to finish. Delicious cocktails to start followed by the highly rated pan seared king oyster 'scallops '. For our main meals we had the Mediterranean raw lasagna which is served cold but has incredible flavours and the roast 'chicken pie ' with seasonal vegetables. For dessert it was a no-brainer to go for the dulcet de leche cheese cake which lived up to the heady expectations we had read about in reviews. The experience was topped off with the chance to talk to co-founders Daulton and Greg who were incredibly generous with their time on a busy evening to chat with us about their journey and the amazing food. "One of the best steak houses I've ever been to! I highly recommend this restaurant. I made a booking for one last minute and they accommodated me quickly. Unfortunately, when I arrived and was shown to my table it was laid up for two and the waitress even put down a second menu. I chose what I wanted and was seen to quite quickly. Despite ordering a glass of wine, one starter and one main, the waitress then asked if I was waiting for anyone. As a single dinner this repeated assumption that I must be with someone else made me feel quite saddened, especially as I had pre-booked for one. The wine was very good, and the starter came out in a flash. I had ordered whitebait but what I was presented with was surprising small considering it's £8 (roughly) price tag. The fish was good and the batter was done well. The accompanying sauce/dip and salad were both good as well. The main issue was portion size for me, especially as I see whitebait as a cheap option in normal restaurants. I had the rib-eye steak at £30 (roughly) and ordered it blue. Something that is always risky in my experience, but the chef did it to perfection. I think it is the best blue steak I have had in all of the Bournemouth area. The garlic butter was divine and the chips and onion rings were well prepared. The grilled tomatoes were very good, I must say. Over all, the food was absolutely exceptional and the service was absolutely on point! Except for the price and size of the whitebait and the service making me feel a tiny bit awkward for being alone, I would have given 5* across the board. The place is quite pricey, for me alone with just a starter, main and two drinks plus the tip came to £70. However, the steak was so good that I would still recommend it if you are able to afford it. "WOW! What can we say!? Chris Katie catered lunch at our beautiful outdoor wedding at Moonacre, Sturminster Marshall. They had a fantastic layout and lots of menu options available several different burgers, wieners fries! They absolutely smashed the service and excelled at feeding a few more than expected too! They made us a gorgeous little personalised menu also which we thought was such a nice touch! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how amazing their food was even those who would never normally consider vegan options were blown away at how great everything tasted! They managed to positively influence even the most stubborn meat eaters of our guests to realise that they don’t need to miss out on flavour when choosing vegan options! That’s a huge win in our eyes! A couple of people even said it was the first ever vegan food they’d tried and they couldn’t get over how amazing it was! We told our guests about the Mighty Wieners restaurant in Bournemouth and will be bringing people back for more as they couldn’t wait to try more options! The day was such a huge success and Chris Katie did such an incredible job! We can’t recommend them enough, for food at their restaurant and wedding events catering!
