"I've been a guest at a friend in Bremen for the weekend. We discovered this restaurant by chance and fed here. The ambience was 1A, the service, the host were first class. I felt very comfortable. Now for dinner: have ordered a fish plate: this was with one of the best fish dishes I've fed in my life so far. 6 different types of fish and all tasted great. Even the supplements were very delicious. Rare so delicious. It is definitely worth the price. I recommend the restaurant to everyone."

"A year ago, we ordered this for the first time. And I must confess that I really am very positively surprised by the quality of a delivery service. That was really by far one of the best dishes we've ever received. Unfortunately, however, the whole quality is getting more and more. The Gyros was quite dry today, the tzaziki was a little sour and the burgers my friend ordered were too through. Dear team of Braker Pizza Service you need to follow, I know you can try again, then there will be more stars from us again. It would really be a pity if that's what it is. And so I personally find the three stars really justified and fair. Make it better again and give you trouble I know you can!! !"

"Wir waren zu viert, 2 Pärchen, dort zum Essen und haben uns auf einen schönen Abend gefreut. Doch ein Gericht kam leider nicht so, wie es bestellt war. Gedacht und angeboten wurden die kleinen „Baby-Calamares“, es wurden aber große, zähe Calamares mit den drei anderen Gerichten an den Tisch gebracht. Der Kellner sagte,man hätte normalerweise die kleinen Calamares, aber heute wären sie nicht mehr zu haben und dafür hätte man eben die Großen zubereitet. Man könnte auch etwas Anderes servieren, aber dann müsse man halt warten (und später allein essen)., bis etwas Anderes zubereitet wäre. Das wollten wir dann auch nicht. Im Endeffekt ein Fehler, so hat man dann für Kartoffeln und Spinat 26€ bezahlt. Der Kellner hätte bei der Bestellung oder direkt danach auf den Mangel hinweisen müssen, und nicht frech das verkehrte Gericht an den Tisch bringen. Es gab keine Entschuldigung, oder vielleicht eine kleine Wiedergutmachung auf Kosten des Hauses. Auch die Bedienung konnte man nicht als gut bezeichnen, hier ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Wenn wir wieder in Herdecke sind, werden wir dieses Lokal mit Sicherheit nicht aufsuchen."

"We're on 26. April 2023 spontaneously returned to the Duc D’Alben had not reserved and were nevertheless kindly received and got a nice place with strollers and our dog was also welcome. The service was very friendly and really advised us nicely. The food was very delicious, fresh and appealing. The fact that the carvings are freshly prepared and are not a TK commodity has not only been able to taste when eating, but can also be heard in advance by knocking out the kitchen. All carvings were also optionally available from poultry. We had the Cordon Bleu from chicken and it was incredibly delicious. The sweet potatoes were crispy and the sauce Hollandaise, which we had for the carving, was an absolute dream. The roasted potatoes were beautifully roasted and nicely crispy. Price/performance ratio was very good. We will definitely come back and recommend the Duc D’Alben!"
