Sherlock's And Grill

Not enough characters available to explain all. No presentation, overpriced, fish cooked in a dirty pan tasted like burnt, waiter did not check back on mains or starters. Will never go back.

This was a friend get together. We arrived early (for 6pm) and they opened the Restaurant for us which was really nice. Food was good. Service good. We had the 50% discounted meal. Fantastic value. Would definitely go there again. Marion Dooley

Booked for a 50th Birthday celebration, we arrived earlier than planned expecting some resistance but the team couldn't be more accommodating. Wonderful waiter Kostas, looked after every single one of us at the table appropriately. Couldn't recommend a visit more highly.

When sherlock fans visiting London, we just had to go to Baker Street, and the food in Sherlock's was just perfect. The food was excellent, high quality, the waiter was very friendly and even spoke a few words in French with us. That's an elegant place. My daughter and I enjoyed this diner to his fullest.

I used to go there for lunch frequently because my university is located quite close to the hotel. The ambiance is amazing, with stylish and stunning decor. The restaurant and bar are located further inside the hotel. The service is exceptional and I paid less than £20 for my meal and drinks. I highly recommend their chicken Caesar salad, which I believe is the best in the city. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

I visited the Sherlock Holmes Hotel and decided to try out the grill on a cold, rainy December night. I was pleasantly surprised by the rib-eye steak priced at £22 and the side of wild spinach. The steak was grilled perfectly to a medium temperature. The ambience didn't have much to do with the famous detective, besides a few paintings on the wall and the location on Baker Street. The menu was limited but the food was served hot and with a smile.

This was a really pleasant experience and we felt absolutely at ease with the staff. My only heavy critique must be on the level of salt in the main courses. Having a heavily salted swordfish with olives in a salted tomato sauce made finishing my meal quite a struggle. Not only that but my friend's pasta dish was salted, on top of the butter and Parmesan that made the dish. All that said, I will definitely be back to give it a fair go. Wonderful place!

Sherlock's Bar Grill was good for lunch, although very quiet on weekday we dined. The food was fine, the rib eye steak was a little fat and hard, although nicely cooked on the carbon grill that helped the taste. They were calculated for supplements that were good size and value. The service was reasonably attentive, although it should have been with only 4 other diners. Overall, a little disappointing and I would probably not return again as there was so much more choice in the area and the food/restaurant was average.

We were very disappointed with our meal here. It took almost an hour to place our order, although we were one of two occupied tables (we were a party of 4). When the net finally came, one of the commands was wrong. Someone had ordered a burger without cheese. The waiter took the order back and we saw the cook scratched the cheese from the burger and sent it back. When the person who had ordered it, a cheese allergy had to send it back and wait until another could be cooked. When the burger arrived, the rest of us had been done for a long time. We were not offered for that. The food was average and too expensive. About £130 for 4 burgers and a drink each. Would not recommend or come back here...
