The room was fine, but as soon as we got to the restaurant we had the lowest quality food possible. As a German I am used to better and the beer options were even worst

Very good service and food, had fish and chips lunch, chef cooked one fish under grill as one of party did not like batter. Recommended place to eat. Lovely staff and airy place.

Lost its way for a spell but delighted to say new owners have done it proud. The menu is very good and the food is freshly prepared and very good value. The Service is excellent and the views outstanding.

Turned up for evening meal following recommendation and got a table with a view of the sea and golf course, service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. The food came reasonably quickly as it was quiet but all was well done. We will be back!

Myself and my partner visited at around 7pm on 15/06/23. Both ordered exact same meals. Within 1.5/2 hours we both had sickness, diarrhea and stomach cramps. Telephoned the restaurant and asked them to be aware and look into. Messaged the next day and asked if there was a possibility of a refund but was advised we'd have to be tested for food poisoning before anything could be refunded. Was told the management team would call me back but that hasnt happened. The service was really good and the view is always amazing but I don't think I'd go back

Booked a room for 1 night as I was doing a job nearby and didn't want to drive home late at night. Staff is very friendly and location is good . The couple of things that bother me is that there is a very long waiting time for food and drinks. Also got to my room and wanted to freshen up with a shower after a 4 HR drive and only to find out that there was no hot water. After work that night I tried again but still no hot water, same in the morning. I did mention this after the first time to the hotel staff so there was time to fix it. I was told that the manager was on holiday and they would call on Monday. But as expected never called.

I 've been visiting this place for many years and in fact still refer to it, like many others do as what it was called back in the day. One of the main reasons for that is the standard of everything hasn 't changed, if anything, it 's got better 'with age ' Take this lunchtime for instance .. a few days ago I had a dish off the evening menu that was simply amazing (filet of salmon in a stunning wine, garlic, and prawn sauce) .. I was disappointed to find it wasn 't on the lunch menu, however, the chef happily cooked it again for me ..
