"Soho is a lovely cocktail bar I visited last night after indulging in some food at El Coto across the road. Fantastic decor, comfy sofa booths, ample cocktail choice and very friendly staff made it a great end to the night. I ordered a raspberry collins and it was delicious....a little bit on the pricey side but you pay for the ambience of the bar as it has a glamorous or chic feel to it. Staff are willing to bring drinks to the table and always check you are satisfied with your drinks which is a nice touch. Definitely recommended midweek if you fancy a few cocktails after work however they don't offer any happy hour deals like other cocktail bars. Also be careful on match days as its close proximity to St James Park tends to attract huge crowds of football fans for pre and post match drinks (can be a good or a bad thing depending on what you are looking for)."

Good food and worth the price, however slow service and uncomfortable seating arrangements

Food beautiful as always, service a little slower than normal but it was Valentines day so very busy. It’s to be expected

First time coming to this restaurant and we were unsure what to try on the menu, the staff were so helpful with recommendations! The food we had was outstanding and the drinks were delightful! Will definitely be back to try more.

They gave us the wrong order. I told them about my allergy to shellfish and I had a moderate reaction so clearly the food was contaminated. Th waitress did not seem at all concerned about the allergy. The chicken ramen was disappointing and better from a chain anyway.

The chilli beef ramen wasn't nice at all, the noodles were chewy and the dish just had no flavour. I asked for spicy but even the beef tasted bland. The soho bun platter was okay, but if i ordered again i would just choose the Beef. The others were a bit dry. My OH had spicy lamb noodles and they were much nicer, maybe I just chose badly!

I was looking for a light meal in a quiet restaurant, and this place was ideal. to be sure, a place that claims to offer both Japanese and Korean foods, usually offers that this was not entirely either – but what they had was good. I had a roasted tofu-cutter, a cauliflower cake (a bit on the salty side,) and miso suppe, and came satisfied.

Delicious food and nice ambience. The service was a bit poor. We weren't asked how our food was or if we wanted anymore drinks. We had to go to the bar to ask for water in the end. Also a bit sparse on the vegetarian and vegan options. For some reason the vegetarian menu wasn't laid on the table upon arrival and the waiter ended up fetching one once we started ordering food. The only other slight disappointment was they were out of apple cider so I ended up with a mediocre type of ginger beer.

we were already often past this place on the way to leazes park and I noticed a complete vegan menu on the window and was eager to try. we booked a weekday evening. the greeting was not the kindest when we entered the staff, saw us immediately and we stood at the door uneasy and nobody came to welcome us. we had to go to the restaurant and mention our booking. once sat our server was very friendly and we were served fast and eating came fast. eating was nothing spectacular, but was delicious, and nice to have a fully vegan menu. it was definitiv not authentic Japanese/Korean food though, and would have done with more toppings (I like how Asian cuisine comes in the rule with dings like choppe...
