Ordered a takeaway and really good food at a decent price. Word of warning though don’t use Just Eat for delivery it was going to cost 50% more than the food for delivery!

My son and I enjoyed the varied and flavourful menu on a busy Friday evening. Warm welcome, attentive service and buzzy atmosphere. Chicken Shaktora in particular was excellent.

Every time we make a reservation and visit Spice Lounge everything is always first class and it is by The BEST Asian restaurant in Oxfordshire! From making our reservation, to the welcoming greeting on arrival, to the menu choices, the food, the service everything is...absolutely first class and would highly recommend! Sadly it’s been a year or so since we last visited this excellent restaurant, in which time they’ve updated the interior to give a more contemporary feel. This update adds to the ambiance and the good news is that the food is as enjoyable and...well presented as ever. It is one of those Indian restaurants that doesn’t overface you with large portions, you have enough to allow you to enjoy three courses without feeling uncomfortable. Lovely well balanced and seasoned meals, we really should visit more often.

We decided to have a takeaway rather than visit the restaurant. The menu is extensive and very much cheaper than the restaurant. We ordered over £25 so had free ‘extras’ popadoms, Bombay aloo and chutney. We have had some very indifferent takeaways and Indian...meals when on holiday, but the Spice Lounge food was a revelation. Quite simply it was superb, one of the best we have had even surpassing our local Indian which we love. The delivery (on a Friday) was ahead of time and the quality of the food was exceptional even the ‘ freebie papadoms were delightful as good as we have ever had and the Bombay aloo was also top quality. Well done to the Spice Lounge chefs knock out!

we visited yesterday the spice lounge in burford for the 3rd time and yet again the food and service was excellent. we were in falmouth, cornwall last week vacation and decided to take a way to burford on the way to home so that we...can try to eat the spice lounge again. we had eaten here last year and last year, and we loved the methi chicken dish absolutely, it is one of the best curry dishes we ever had. I guess it's all up to personal taste whether others would agree with me, but all I can say is that eating is clearly all prepared with fresh ingredients and taste amazingly. the service was also excellent and our waiter was always at need to hand. please try this place when they are in...
