"I went in last night with some friends, and it was such a wonderful night. I have been taking part in veganuary and have decided to continue for a while and this restaurant made me feel so welcome and made the whole experience so easy! One of the most vegan friendly places i have visited and it's right on our door step! The owner even came out to explain my options and ask if I was happy with them all. Such a wonderful experience from a meat eating restaurant and the food was amazing too (as it always is!!! . Thanks so much for a great night."

"we had taken a few times, but never sat and eaten after we finished shopping on sat around, we went to dinner adult children we had the place for us who was nice and I can't thank the staff enough that felt so welcome. they made my youngest hot, although not on the menu, they chat and explained about the decorations when the children asked. eating was nice, kids ate it like us. the red wine was beautiful too, so I had glasses! the food tasted even better than when we took away, we'll be back."

"From the very start of booking, we had a great experience. There are people who talk to you and do all they can to achieve what you really want. At reception, we met Jamie who had helped us with the reservation and all his colleagues were equally helpful and genial people. We had some special arrangements for a birthday and the staff went the extra distance to make it all work really well. This is an old and very cosy hotel with a great atmosphere. Lovely rooms and bar for quiet relaxation don't change it. The restaurant was superb with some beautifully prepared and served dishes that were imaginative and delicious. Everything was a success. You are quite some distance from our home so we don't know when we might return but I have already discovered other friends who have eaten with you. We commend you all."

"Are you joking? Are you JOKING!!! This was the worst Indian I have ever had. Everything was bland, the chicken was dry, the butter chicken had coconut in? And was like a bitty soup with barely any chicken in. Everything was unseasoned, chips were soggy and unsalted. The best part was probably the salad and the popadoms. Apart from this, the man who delivered out food was lovely. However, I would rather be repeated punched in the face than eat this food ever again. If you are looking for authentic Indian food then don’t go here, a ready meal is probably better than this sorry to say, but I don’t know how on earth so many people enjoy this? I would give the food 0 if I could."

"This town pub is fantastic, always bustling with customers. They have TVs showing sports during major events and host regular live music performances. There is a large outdoor seating area for guests to enjoy some fresh air or for those who smoke. The prices are very fair, making it a better choice than Wetherspoons."
