I found the manager (Oliver) extremely accommodating and friendly. The food was delightful and would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely pub with exceptional pub food. I opted for the fish (which was huge) and chips, others has the crispy beef, burgers and pâté. All were excellent as were our waitress's Emily and Holly who are a credit to the establishment.

My partner and I go here regularly for lunch as we live nearby and find everything about the Hotel is first class. The staff are so attentive and always fuss our little doggie Bella with biscuits.and the chef always prepares an excellent meal. Would certainly recommend. Visualizza piatti

Had a 2 night stay, 27th and 28th April, really lovely, room was spacious and very comfortable, food and service excellent, a beautiful old pub in glorious countryside. Nigel and his team made us really welcome, will definitely be back. John, Lesley and Bob Terrier, many thanks, top drawer!

It takes 50 mins in the car to visit the spread eagle Every mile is worth it. We love how we can take the dog into the bar or dine in the restaurant where the tables aren’t too close together The view over the river and fields is wonderful The waiting on staff are very efficient and the food is great always something new on the menu) The roast beef for Sunday lunch is the best. Highly recommended visit.
