"my partner has booked a Sunday dinner at the springer spaniel when he knew I was going so bad. we were not disappointed. that was eating totally our expectations and this Scotch egg starter....AMAZING! Simply melts in your mouth and the casual egg, so delicious. I still spend almost two weeks. friendly staff and a great service. we're coming back!"

Spent the evening catching up with friends at one of their themed nights Ale Tasting some great live music and the food was as fantastic as always. Welcoming, friendly environment with great service and food.

this pub has everything, cozy atmosphere, loving staff, eating either a great carter or pub classic..Desserts to die for and their own brewed camp. the beerbatter fish and cloby chips are the best I've ever tried.

Secret little hideaway this, in the badlands of the Devon/Cornwall border. Amazing food (cannot recommend the Black Pudding Scotch Egg highly enough, fantastic! , friendly, helpful service and an all round great atmosphere. Try it, you will not be disappointed!

The food is excellent, good sized portions, beautifully presented and of a very high standard. The weekly menu is well worth trying with a variety of starters, main meals and amazing desserts. I highly recommend the Sunday roasts. The roast beef is the best I have ever eaten. My brother loves the pork roast.
