"Ristorante molto atmosferico. Era pieno quando siamo arrivati, e non avevamo prenotato, quindi abbiamo mangiato il nostro pasto al bar, che stava bene. Found the Gauchos by chance. We got a table outside in the beer garden without reservation. The staff was very friendly! We had fixed our food, servings super and tasted it also wonderful. Very atmospheric restaurant. It was full when we arrived, and we hadn't booked, so we ate our meal at the bar, which was just fine. The steaks are to die for, perfectly cooked. We had a large salad which had a tasty dressing and double...cooked chips. The staff are efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend Gauchos, but book first to guarantee a table.

we just visited a few days back. Our hotel is located at the periphery of lindau, so in the evening there are only a few options for a diner. so gauchos found about 1.7 km to foot from a hotel and it was great....In a small village surrounded by obst gardens and beautiful nature. gauchos has a good Mexican food and a large selection of drinks. wants deffo is back one day!

"Das gastronomische Erlebnis im Villino war zweifellos eine Delikatesse für die Sinne. Von der eleganten Atmosphäre bis hin zur vorzüglichen Küche und dem ausgezeichneten Service bot das Restaurant eine bemerkenswerte kulinarische Erfahrung. Wir waren vor sehr langer Zeit (15 Jahren+ schon mal hier und damals schon ziemlich begeistert von unserem Besuch. Doch der jetzige Aufenthalt im Hotel verbunden mit Restaurant Besuch hat unsere Erwartungen durchaus übertroffen. Zum Hotel: Dieses charmante, kleine Hotel vereint eine idyllische Lage mit einer herzlichen Atmosphäre und exzellentem Service. Die sorgfältig ausgewählten Details, von der eleganten Einrichtung bis hin zu den Blumenarrangements, trugen zur Entspannung und Erholung bei. Das herausragendste Merkmal des Hotels war zweifellos das außergewöhnlich freundliche Serviceteam. Jedes Mitglied des Teams strahlte eine aufrichtige Wärme und Gastfreundschaft aus, die unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich machte. Sie waren stets aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, und ihre herzliche Art machte uns das Gefühl, Teil einer großen Familie zu sein (klingt kitschig, ist aber so . Ah und dann war noch das Frühstück!! Herrlich! Kein Buffet, aber es gab alles was Herz und Magen begehren und ja, auch hier war der Service einfach perfekt! Schade war es nur, dass wir auf der Durchreise waren und nur eine Nacht geblieben sind! Aber wir werden wieder kommen."

"My wife and I went first time to this restaurant after recommendation from the place where we stayed overnight, some 3 km away.The beer-garden was nearly full and there were only three tables left when we arrived at 6pm. We sat in the sun, order a glass of Kerner wine (which was excellent) and a typical bavarian Weissbier. The menu showed Spargel and my wife ordered the same with chicken and I had a "Zwiebelriostbraten" )beef fillet with roasted potatoes and fried onions). Food was very good, the beef nearly to the point - as I ordered medium, it was a little overdone - but tasty and of excellent quality. We ordered some more Kerner wine and, unfortunately, had tp wait about 10 minutes until we received the new filled glasses. Meanwhile the whole beer-garden was filled up with guests and a lot of people had to go inside the "Gasthof" to have dinner as there was no place outside anymore.We had for dessert a "Süssser Traum" which was a home-made apple strudel with vanilla ice-cream and hot chocolate sauce. Nice to see that it was served with two spoons and forks without asking for it. My wife and I enjoyed the dessert and were a little unhappy with the espresso served afterwards as it was too much coffee with little foam and had nothing to do with the italian espresso.The waitress, a lady at around mid 40s, and another younger waitress seemed to be a little stressed because of the full beer-garden and therefore, maybe, the service was not what we expected. Still, the lady serving us had her nose a little too high up."

I was very done by both courts; they fully fulfilled my expectations, and I would rather have seen it at the main dish if monasteries were placed on my plate instead of the potato crustles.
