"We tried to go here, twice. It had good reviews, but when we entered, the staff did not even acknowledge us. We stood there, two separate times for 3-5 minutes and no one greeted us in any way...They were busy, but 4 different people/staff were literally walking around us and ignoring us! Unbelievable. Later we asked a local, and she said the same thing (that the food is good, but the staff are incredibly rude)...Life is too short to put up with treatment like that! So, we went 3 blocks away to a wonderfully friendly restaurant with good food - "Film Taverne" with good Bavarian fare and pizza. I would recommend to go there instead!"

"the georg ludwig is for me always a favorite destination when I take a bike tour from home. the Bavarian Picture Book House is located in the small place maising, a bit west of poecking, or starnberg. it is possible to achieve, as mentioned, with the wheel, or per pedes from starnberg. to this you wander through the scenic maisingers, which is especially worth a visit with children. of course, you also come to the tin box, but I find it importable and after some movement tastes speis and drank the better. in summer the wonderful beer garden is probably the main attraction. it is really hot, offer chestnuts shadowing while in the early or autumn you are looking for a little bit in the sunny obst garden or even resorting to the outlying creative. because I don't like a big portion when cycling, I can't say anything about the sponge. he looks great in any case and is praised at the side tables in the highest tones. for that I can say something about the sausage salad: excellent! You rarely get him that well. good sausage, a little radi and radishes and a self-made sauce with a hauch senf, no comparison to the usual packerl tin or infallibly edig water. to drink one gets the maisacher brewery, of which I would especially recommend the natural straw beer or the famose predatory kneißl dark. the service is flott and usually also friendly. For the lemon we had to pull out the cores, always not fun if you have the fingers full of lemon. The few onions there were very rough cut and the announced tomatoes consisted of a small piece under the Zaziki. This was very solid and provided with cucumber strips. The dill in it did not use us so fresh and garlic very sparingly. The rice was very loose and cooked with bite, but it was very fat and very taste-neutral. The Gyros was still the best on the record. Partly slightly crispy, but still juicy pieces with them. Consistency fits, but during the season you were very back. We do not need the dried herbs on the plate, have no taste, and on TV they were not represented. Now to the salad, first look and what you see – corn. It should be people who like corn like this, we pulled him down. There were mixed leaf salads, paprika, onions, tomatoes and cucumbers. Don't forget, even the dried herbs. The dressing was poured over the middle and went a little lost with the corn. For the whole salad it was too little for us. It was a simple balsamicodressing, but had a nice acidity. The spear was very crispy, the shrimps were very dry and where was a spice? However, this was still missing from some animals of the intestine. I can't. We were very disappointed by the food, 1 star ambience man sitting here on the terrace overlooking the lake. There are white plastic tables and chairs with four seats per table. It's a little tight.
