"Having grown up in Quebec I have a love for French cuisine. For me a trip to France is heaven on earth, the baguettes, cheese, amazing wine and salmon, is everything a French Canadian girl dream of, but I found so much more than I could have ever hoped for in this hidden gem. MUST VISIT IF IN DIJON!!This restaurant takes everything that is fine french cuisine and presents it like a five-star Michelin restaurant. The food, atmosphere and wine were more than I could have ever expected in a small town outside of Paris. They start you off with small bits to tantalize your pallet as you choose your 5-course meal from the menu. Those small bits are whatever the chef comes up with that day with some of the freshest ingredients you've ever had.When it comes to wine, we asked for the menu and the owner was like no no the Sommelier will come to help you choose the wine which goes best with your meal. They have their very own Sommelier can you imagine. It was my first experience having someone choose the wine which goes best with my meal, but it was out of this world the wine he recommended. I took a picture, hoping when I returned to Montreal I could find it again. The food, every course was out of this world. Displayed in the most beautiful way possible with so much flavour. I decided to try something local I had never had before in my life, pigeon. Oh yes, right now your questions did she really just say pigeon? I did and it was out of this world; Pigeon from Corton, the back rubbed with vanilla seed, the thigh caramelized with shallots and melt in your mouth Charlotte Potatoes. OMG!! It was worth the risk of ordering something different. That was my main, for the Entree, I order; Foir Gras, I had numerous local cheeses before the desserts started. They allow you to choose a specific desert, then while you wait to bring you 5 small little desserts the chef decided to make that day. By the time you leave this amazing restaurant, you will have eaten some of the best food of your life and wish you lived close by to return again, again and again. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to you."

Very nice restaurant, with amazing food. We had the lunch surprise which is a great way of trying gastronomic food at a recent price point. Our children (4 and 7) had the children 's menu, which to our opinion, was a little too ambitious. Food was nice but for kids it is important to be able to decipher what food is on the plate. the frame is very friendly and the welcoming smile and pro .the menu really surprised us and bcp more. very beautiful flavors and beautiful plates the poached foie gras was excellent as well as fish. .and the breath to the great marnier has definitely convinced me .the cheese tray is really a treat too. the price of the menu is justified the wine list is very provided but a little expensive. the service is courteous, applied and friendly. It's really a beautiful table that would deserve a second star. of course I recommend....

Our Dinner at Origine was just incredible!! We had the vegetarian menu which came with three Courses and four additional intermediate courses. Each course was presented absolutely wonderful and tasted as fantastic. We really liked the fusion of local produce and a touch of asian cuisine. The time between all courses was perfectly chosen. As well as the food the service and introduction of the dishes were top. Everyone was super attentive and friendly. The ambience is minimalistic and modern and we felt really comfortable. Also worth mentioning is the stunnig price for the whole menu with its super high quality! Thanks to the whole team for this beautiful evening. A visit at Origine really sh...

The beef tail in Burgundy, it passes but it's still not hot!
