Very authentic Japanese restaurant the only one in Guildford as far as I know. Had the bento box lunch. Very nice. Very friendly service too.

Formerly an excellent restaurant. They used to be very attentive and even gave you something little after the meal to say thanks. The food is still great. This restaurant is decent. I have only had the sushi as a main and it is very good with a variety of sushi. I really recommend the spicy prawns (i cant really remember the name) but it is a starter and honestly it is the best thing on the menu and it never disappoints. Personally, I do think sushi Nara is one of the best sushi restaurants around here since I usually come back here (especially on birthdays). Peace Out.

The place has more a feel of a café rather than a restaurant, but without doubt the food was exceptional. Menu offer mainly Japanese food, with a few nods to Korea as well. All ordering is done via the QR Code and it gets delivered as and when it is prepared. We ended up ordering a range of dishes from across the menu including delicate Prawn Gyoza, a super-fresh Sashimi Set, a Dragon Roll, Tuna and Avocado Ura-Maki and a Prawn Katsu all accompanied by a fiery kimchi. There was a good selection of Korean and Japanese beers as well This was more than enough for 2 hungry people, and could not fault any of the dishes presented. Overall, a great place for a quick bite to eat.

Proper authentic Asian food in the heart of Guildford. Not fancy or overpriced, but homely and down to earth. The bibimbap is the best I've had for a while served in a proper hot stone bowl and the sushi and gyoza are excellent as well. One of my favourite places in Guildford to eat. One small thing I'd change and which I always like in Asian owned restaurants is free or endless tea of some kind if you order a meal. I'm also not a fan of ordering via an app you do have the option of ordering from a member of staff though.
