I lived in Oxford for 4 years, and I love the city to pieces and whenever I come back this restaurant holds a special place in my heart The food here is delightful, easily the best Japanese food I've ever had! Please try the Chicken Curry Udon and the Takoyaki... Oh please please please try the Takoyaki I really can't get enough on it. On top of that the service is great, very reasonable prices and it's a solid location central to all you locals!"

Really cozy place for dinner! The raven was great! We all had a nice experience, the staff was friendly and the food amazing. Try the desserts too!

Favourite restaurant — they are always friendly and in my opinion seafood is udon for to die. The £9.90 weekday lunch deal is also excellent. Working on weekends!

Visited yesterday and had the spicy beef ramen OMG, it was divine! One of the best ramens I’ve ever had, very authentic and service was quick and staff were lovely. Would return again if I lived in Oxford

Nice place for Ramen. We ordered a seaweed salad, dumplings, spicy tuna reel, chicken Katsu udon and cattleramen. It was served immediately. Service was great. You have Asahi beer on draft. You have a lunch we'll try again.

Absolutely love the Sushi! I'd say that rice dishes are the best here. I tried the Spicy Tuna Roll, Cowley Roll and Unagi Don (my fav) and they are all good. The only complaint I'll say is that Tonkotsu Pork Ramen could be better (the pork slice is very average).

Amazing as always, I've been going to Taberu for years. The menu is pretty much always the same and so is the price. A little suggested from a usual customer is to maybe include a special menu, just to make the food experience slightly more interesting. Overall I highly recommend!

This is my favorite place for sushi and ramen in town because of the quality and authenticity of food. It is always delicious, and there is such a beautiful atmosphere in the restaurant. I sometimes get take-out and it is always safe packed so there are never any spills. My favorite thing is the Takoyaki.

Had lunch on a Tuesday, small cosy restaurant, friendly staff and reasonably priced lunch menu with that also includes vegetarian options. Food is prepared fresh and served when ready so you can steal some food from your table partner if they get their food first. Quality and taste of the food is good. Servings are regular sized. Plan to come back for dinner.
