Really great lunch menu including soup. The atmosphere was great. Nothing of the cheap Chinese restaurants that I am used to in Johannesburg. Loved the Jasmine tea

We go to Tai ping on a regular basis and have rarely been disappointed. Standard decor for Asian restaurants in Germany but friendly staff and good food. If possible we like to be surprised by items not on the menu Szechuan beef for example...is delish

food was ok,but the Vietnamese owner as well as the waiter never smiles, he was trying to ignore customers' feedback, we were there on Sat, and saw lots of guests are waiting for their food for hours, and lots of them wanted to talk to...him, but he always left in the middle of the conversation!!! well, basically he is the only waiter who serves the whole big...restaurant. he even charged us boxes for take away which he didnt tell us in advance and not normal in a Chinese restaurant! over priced! will not go there again!!

Visited twice in October. First time had really delicious remedy from German food. Decided to have Hot and Sour Soup plus largestarter of mixed Asian salads. The soup was different from the UK version, but equally delicious and complex. The salads were delicious, but more...normal for a UK palette duck, glass noodle, and thai style papayacabbagecarrot. Second time had a notspicyenough Dragon Squid, which was again well cooked, but not as unusual as I'd hoped. Still a very pleasant experience with lots of vegetables hurrah. Overall this restaurant is good enough for a mile trip, but perhaps not for miles. The menu is very long and takes some figuring out, but the ambience makes this a pleasur...
