Dreadful!! Would give a zero if I could!!! Asked for Singapore Vermicelli and the duck to be swapped for shrimp.....no shrimp but wanted to charge an extra £1 PER PRAWN for King Prawns???? Are you kidding me??? Got Vegetable one instead £8.30!! .....absolutely tasteless, no spice or flavour at all!! I have had it with this place,

To be frank, this restaurant was a bit of a letdown. Despite being popular with regulars, the dishes were lacking in flavor and texture. None of the dishes we tried met our expectations, making it seem like the kitchen was uninspired. Luckily, there are plenty of other dining options in the area offering a variety of cuisines. I visited this restaurant last Saturday before going to the new Catford Mews cinema. We ordered sweet and sour chicken with meat noodles (a special on the menu) along with spare ribs and pork dumplings. The portions were large enough to share between two people. It's important to note that this is more of a takeout-style Chinese food, not a high-end dining experience. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. I would definitely come back again as it offers great value for the price.

I tried the mixed meat udon dish, and the deep fried spare ribs, and all very nice. The main dishes are all about £7, and one dish is enough for 2. Food is very fast and hot, and the room is set out with long tables and benches, a bit like Wagamamas. The only dishes missing is any Thai curry, or any dim sum. But there is an extensive list of nearly 120 dishes, wine is available, at about £13 a bottle, and bottles of Carlsburg at £2.40. Great value for money, open from 11.30 am, till 11 pm, families welcome.

Went with my friend, we'd been playing basketball all day, popped into Nando's, they told us 20 minute wait for a table. Absolute violation. We popped into Tai won Mein, took a seat, surfed the menu. Unimaginably extensive but we knew what we wanted. Sweet and Sour Chicken (HK style) with fried rice. Lovely staff came out with the food. Legendary dish. Portion size was immense. Would totally recommend this to anyone in the Catford endz. It's cash only so bring ya wallets full. It's incredibly cheap for the portion size so don't worry if you come on an empty stomach. This restaurant has been here for at least 17years although I belive it has changed hands a few times. It used to be flavourful food, good sized portions and good value for money, I can honestly say the only thing it has going for it now is the portion sizes. Service if you can call it that is rude and abrupt, they only accept cash(?! and the atmosphere is dead. The food is honestly tasteless, on this occasion (the last time I go there I went for a takeaway and asked for duck in oyster sauce, was told they don't do that then another woman said they do, when I got it home it certainly wasn't oyster sauce and was more tasteless than bisto gravey. I'm done with this place for good.

The service at this restaurant was unfortunately below par and did not follow current guidelines. I ordered a small dish and a drink while waiting to meet a friend, but was surprised to find myself having to line up at a counter to place my order, especially during these times. I also had to ask for hand sanitizer to be refilled. When my food finally arrived, there were no utensils or napkins provided. I had to return to the counter to request these essentials. The staff seemed taken aback that I needed cutlery to eat with. I noticed that two other tables also received their food without cutlery. The service is very poor. They only take cash and also don 't give you a receipt. When I gave my order, the person disappeared and never saw them again. Not even a ok that 's done . Just disappeared. When you enter the restaurant they show you a table and disappear, no menu nothing. Later we find out we have to go to the cashier to order. They don 't hand out menus too, you have to take a copy from a pile of dirty used laminated menus in the corner which is against guidelines as it 's very unhygienic. The food tasted very poor.
