"Start off by saying this has been my go to place for years. Eating in and take away many many times. Had a takeaway from here a few weeks ago and it was not what it once was. Gave them the benefit of the doubt for tonight and it was even worse. Poppadums.... stale from the start Keema naan.... the meat used to be a reddish/purple colour and full of taste, more like a donner meat colour now and not so nice. Onion bhaji... these were unreal before, large, tasty, crispy..wow! Last 2 times have still been ok but no where near what they were. Pilau rice was spot on. Chicken madras... sauce was tasty but the chicken was so tough and dry. This is a massive let down for us and unfortunately will not try again for a while or until i hear things have improved."

Ordered a take away Friday 3rd November to be delivered. Was told it would be half an hour as I had phoned at 5 pm. Took an hour to be delivered to home address and food was stone cold when arrived.

The food was delicious and we are very picky eaters! The flavors were lovely and everything was served hot with a smile. We couldn't have asked for more. This place deserves to be full of customers!

Visited here on Saturday night after previously having a couple of takeaways. The welcome was wonderful and so was the service throughout the entire meal. The onion bhajis here are fab and it’s the only Indian restaurant I’ve been to where you get 3 rather than the usual 2. All 4 of us in our party were more than happy with the menu options especially my wife who is vegan/vegetarian and my teenage sons who generally spend most meal times on their phones. We had a great night and the staff here are so engaging and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will certainly go back

Although the restaurant was empty, we decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did. We started with Chicken Tikka Chat with Puri and a Prawn Puri, both of which were absolutely delicious. For our main course, we had Lamb Sag and Butter Chicken, both of which were excellent. A few weeks ago, we had hesitated to visit this restaurant after some passersby recommended a different curry restaurant nearby. However, we now realize how mistaken we were as Taste of India was not only empty but the food was amazing. It's a mystery to us why it's not more crowded, especially since it is quite busy for takeout orders. We will definitely be returning as our dining experience was truly exceptional.

My friends from Saudi Arabia had a terrible experience at this restaurant. There were 3 adults and a toddler in their group, and they requested a high chair but were told they did not have one available. When they asked for an extra chair, they were refused because it would block the walkway. Despite there being plenty of empty tables, they were not allowed to move to another one as the server claimed they were all booked. Eventually, they were rudely told to leave by the server who did not want to serve them. Another older man apologized for the server's behavior and invited them to stay, but they chose to leave due to feeling disrespected. I am deeply ashamed that our visitors were treated...

"I've been to Dylans in Menai Bridge and always enjoyed it not this time. For the first half of our visit there was a stinging blue haze hanging in the air; the kitchen extractors clearly weren't functioning properly. Fortunately this cleared for the second hour we were there. Now to the service; after taking our drinks orders we waited nearly 15 minutes for them. Later, after staff had passed our empty glasses 20 times, we managed to order some second drinks by catching their attention. The food was the main problem; minuscule starters of crab and Welsh rarebit. My pizza came as a real surprise (as others have mentioned in previous reviews); gone is the thin crusted, well filled pizza of the past. The pizza is now about 20% smaller and my daughter mentioned that it looked like a child's portion. However, the main problem was the total lack of filling; there was a huge gap for at least an inch all round the pizza which was just fluffy dough. There were five tiny mussels on it and when I picked the mussel shells up they were so overcooked the shells turned to carbonised dust. I counted three tiny slices of red chilli. As others have mentioned, I realise the industry is having a hard time the price of the pizzas haven't gone up but the quantity and quality has plummeted and I would rather pay more to enjoy my meal. The pudding order came and was wrong. When the hot cross bun pudding came out it was still only on the wrong side of lukewarm. Don't get me started on the price of a pint of Aspalls £7.25, a price I would expect to pay in London. And before Lisa R replies that they would have replaced a dish, it would have been replaced with a similar disappointing dish....and no one bothered to ask us if everything was OK either during or after the meal anyway."
