"Bereits vor Jahren war ich mit einer 6er Gruppe abends um 21 Uhr hier, als uns der Wirt de facto wieder rausschmiss. Grund war, da wir erst auf 21 Uhr reserviert haben, müssen wir uns nicht wundern, wenn die vorangegangenen Gäste eben noch da seinen. Also hatte er keinen Platz für uns. Sechs Mann mit Anzug und Krawatte unter der Woche abends um 9 Uhr aus dem Lokal kompementiert. Alle Achtung.Jetzt wollte ein anderer Freund von mir unbedingt nochmal in dieses Lokal. Der Fisch sei so toll. In meinen Augen war das eine stinknormale Tellerdorade aus der Fischzucht. Mein Scaloppina Parmiggiana kam mit Formschinken (ALDI?) daher. Wieder wurde man bevormundet und unverschämt angemacht (Das gehört in Italien so!). Wenn das so ist, dann gibt es zwei Italien. Eins aus dem der Wirt und sein Koch kommen und das Italien in dem ich schon viele Male war. In seinem Italien haben die Leute keine Manieren und können nicht kochen. Mein Italien ist ein kulinarisches Schlaraffenland. Keine zehn Pferde bringen mich mehr in sein Italien oder in diese 1990er Jahre Lokalität."

Very fresh Italian fish specialities. The boss himself únd takes care of the guests. Goods are freshly selected from the counter. Ingredients are of the highest quality. Mostly a very good Grappa is included in the price. Absolutely secret tip among fish friends.

I must admit that I didn't know it was a place with fish specialties when I left and came there once in the middle of the day. The fish and meatless pasta is average at any rate, and especially nice and cozy I don't find it either. For fish lovers, but possibly an alternative to Pier51, probably also cost-effective.
