We came across this lovely little restaurant in the middle of Winterthur and found that we knew the owner, This is a pearl for anyone who wants a really good meal with clean, modern decor and superb food.

I had tried the zürcher geschnetzeltes on my maiden visit here. The serving was generous and the food was even better. The beef was served with a rosti and salad. The staff were very friendly and amicable. I would highly recommend this place for first timers,

We ended up here more by chance as all the other restaurants were fully booked on Friday evening. With not too many expectations, we were pleasantly surprised. Service is courteous, attentive and quick (even though it was very busy). Wine (Sauvignon Blanc) and food (mixed salad and vegi gnocchi) were very good. There should be a larger vegetarian selection.
