My husband and I went here nights on the trot the food was great and the puddings are great as my husband had the staff are very polite and you don't wait ages for your food would highly recommend

Ate here after going to theatre felt really cheated name steakhouse drew us in steak more like shoe leather slices of mushroom strands of onion and cold chips whole experience awful avoid at all costs

The steak was tough and overcooked. We were unable to order coffee after our meal because the coffee machine was turned off. It seemed like they wanted us to leave quickly. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Located on the Blackpool promenade, this restaurant offers the best fish and chips takeaway experience. The portions of freshly made home cut chips are massive, and the Grade A cod and haddock are of excellent size and quality. The battered fish is delicious and the value for money is great. The food is served piping hot and there is seating available both inside and outside the restaurant. The new signage is clear and easy to read, with superb imagery.

We had spent the weekend in Blackpool was looking for somewhere nice to have fish chips before our journey home. We stopped here as it was convenient we were pushed for time. The food looked like it had come straight from range tasted that way. Small portions more suited to a kids menu. I've had a better fish supper courtesy of Captain Birds Eye. We were with friends only I cleared my plate but that was only because I was ravenous. The sauces were watered down my coke was served flat. Perhaps a good place for families with kids looking for a quick snack. I wouldn't class it as a steak house. The staff were pleasant the prices were reasonable but this didn't make up for the food... Sorry.

We ordered two small pizzas at this restaurant and were disappointed with the quality. The pizzas were soggy and tasteless, resembling frozen pizzas from a grocery store. When we raised our concerns to the manager, he dismissed them by saying that the pizzas are typically ordered by older kids, even though they were listed on the main menu and not the kids menu. Additionally, we were misled about a promotion for kids eating for free with the purchase of an adult meal, as we were told we needed to order a steak to qualify, which was not clearly advertised. We had very often walked passed as we thought it would be quite expensive. However the weekend we did venture in as the food smelt amazing. We had a very big surprise on the prices. My husband and I had burgers and our kids had...a steak sandwich and the yougnest the chicken nugget meal. WOW!!!! is all I can say. I'm not sure if the people who gave it bad reviews were actually in the same restaurant or if they expect gourmet food but their reviews in my opinion are so wrong on all levels. The Texas steak house is situated on Blackpool prom. If you are going in expecting a steak house dining experience you may well be disappointed. It is primarily a decent cafe and does this very well. I ordered the fish , chips and mushy peas....For less than a fiver I was half expecting a frozen version of the type prevalent in chain pubs. I was pleasantly surprised. The fish was a decent sized portion very fresh and well cooked with crisp and thin batter. The chips were made from good potatoes cooked in clean oil and the mushy potatoes were tasty.
