We visited the Thai Bite for the first time tonight to order a take away. We ordered Chicken Satay, Beef Massoman and Chicken Penang with Coconut Rice. Every single bite of this food was delicious! Flavoursome, authentic and plentiful. It is the first time we have used this restaurant and can't wait to return. An absolute gem on Shepeprton High Street. Food: 5

Oh no, this experience was very disappointing. I've enjoyed the food here in the past, but not this time. I ordered the creamy beef Penang, and it was incredibly bland. I even looked up recipes to see what might be missing. Here’s what I found: 1) There was hardly any garlic, 2) No chopped chilies or any heat, 3) No chopped shallots or onions. I did notice a couple of lime leaves, but there wasn’t much flavor from anything else. This was a takeout order, and unfortunately, the service couldn’t make up for the lack of taste.
